Great all around the house machine oil. I buy these to fill my small squeeze oil cans with. They are the perfect size to refill one can or partially refill 2 cans. And its great oil. If it wasnt they would not have been in business for all these years. And the price is great. Cheapest price around.

I refurbish antique fans n stuff and like, put this on it when I want them to actually turn n stuff. And they like… turn once again from the dead. Lol

Classic 3 in 1 oil. Wish it still came in the old style metal can. Lost a star for the cheap plastic bottle. Hard to remove and install cap. The old metal cans easily open and close.

Worked perfectly on dry fan motors, everything running smoothly, easy to use bottle with adjustable cut tip.

I took them apart 3 years ago and used the 3in1 oil in the black bottle. Trouble is that oil becomes a black tar so I had to take them apart and do them again had to wire brush off the black tar . I used 30weight none detergent oil on the Lakewood and this sears compressor oil that does not state what type it is. Both these fans have oil ports and a wicking packing yet it has the old wrong oil. Both fans began the make noise on the front bushing , these are not bronze bushings they are steel. I had to keep removing the front cover and wipe the slight black film off and work the shaft in and out to clean this and re oil until they were clean. I got this oil because the Patton fan kept doing this so I used this oil and its been fine for a month and no noise. If they start this again . I need to remove the old packing because when the bushings get hot the wrong oil gets back in then use this oil on both. Point is I cant use the oil ports because of the wrong oil in the old packing will get back in the bushings. With heat alone it does. I will wait until any noise starts again then replace the packing and use this oil and should be fine. These fans are from 1991 . Took years before either made noise , I have no idea if the wick packing was oiled and the bushings or why wick packing was used for steel bushings, I assume its for holding oil released by heat. Point is dont use anything other than this 3 in 1 20 weight none detergent oil thats what Mcmillen who makes these old motors told me to use 20 weight none detergent motor oil.

3 in one oil has been out since my grandfather was a kid. It works for a ton of stuff around the house, garage, car, ect. Everyone should have a bottle around!

I bought this oil because it has the widest array of lubricating uses as far as I can tell. It is designed for electric motors, but since it is just oil with very few additives, it can be used for pretty much use. I use this to oil my regular door hinges, garage door hinges, and tools. A lot of people prefer white lithium grease for hinges, but I find that it makes a pretty big mess unless you disassemble each hinge. Note: When you snip the top of the spout open, snip as little as possible to leave as small of a hole as possible. I read this in another review, and I am glad I did. The oil comes out plenty fast enough even with a tiny hole.
