> 24 hourI have a couple of those small, black honeywell air circulator fans, and the oil/lubricant that they use in those when assembling them in the factory is absolute rubbish. After a year of constant use the fans were so gummed up that they didnt spin freely. I know we are in an age where everything is disposable, but I really would love to not have to spend $80 on fans every year. So I bought this, and, and put it in all the fans. It works well, incredibly well. The fans spin better than new, in my opinion. From now on all fans I buy will be getting a shot of this

> 24 hourNot sure how much I can write about a little bottle of oil but I purchased this after trying a similar product (as a proof of concept) from a different brand on an old, WELL used but still in great condition Honeywell HT 800 fan. I have already tried this oil after the same issues with the fan cropped up. The motor was trying, BUT itd either go slower than it should have been going OR it was not spinning at all. Its a tad dusty I admit but nothing wrapped around the shaft. It was (best way to say it but may not be the perfect adjective) getting sticky to a point ... just ... like tacky or something .... I cleaned everything off and around various point that hold the shaft in (and especially around where the shaft and the motor come together at the back of the fan, I put a good amount of oil there and as I am typing this ... My Honeywell on LOW is how it was spinning on HIGH before this fix ... I may have to do this every so often but as far as I am concerned ... this oil made my fan good as new. I do agree with others, that clipping the top at the very top most part that you can, makes this a piece of cake to control the flow ... too low and in some use-cases, you will have oil everywhere ... the nozzle makes putting the oil in tight spots, RIGHT WHERE YOU NEED IT, easy. For various little projects, I can totally see myself buying this again. I used it on a fan to make it new again, but I could see this being great for simple stuff like say squeeky cabinet doors that you just live with ... not sure itd work but getting a little bottle of this and trying it out on various things may be worth it

> 24 hourIf you are looking for an oil to oil your fan this is your stuff! I revived a fan who’s motor was binding using this on the bearing. It also worked on a squeaky door hinge since I was in a pinch

> 24 hourIts the same product it has been since before anyone alive today was born (Yes I know hydrocarbon technology has changed and Im sure the product has been updated) the only deciding factor is the price.

> 24 hourThis is a handy bottle to have by the crosscut shredder to keep it lubricated to handle thicknesses of paper, as well as credit cards and CD/DVDs of data to be destroyed. Read you shredder instructions for its maintenance advice. For us, this fits the bill and wasnt too expensive. You may find it more cheaply in a local hardware store. Check there first.

> 24 hourI got this oil to oil the impellers on my Chugger pumps for homebrewing. This product was recommended on The Electric Brewery by Kal. It works great and is very inexpensive. It has a nice cap that snaps on so oil does not spill out. I also used this for my Harbor Freight nailer. Must have for in the tool box.

> 24 hourelectric table fan has been gradually slowing. cleaning and regreasing the metallic bearings helped for a little while but resistance to rotation was starting to recur. Re-cleaned the bearings and used the 3-in 1 motor oil. Fan spins freely again but being a thin oil, I expect to have to reapply on an annual basis, depending on duration of use of the fan. Smells like oil, not disagreeable. I use this now over the 3-in-1 general purpose oil since it doesnt polymerize to a sticky film ( at least it hasent yet).
