Easy material to handle and install

Purchased a greenhouse and it had gaps in the floor boards for air circulation. Unfortunately this would also allow pests to come in since I live I. The woods. Stapled this to the floor and so far so good. I can even roll my heavier items across it on casters.

Seller stuffed a long roll of this material into a tiny box putting bends and dents into the material rendering it useless to use as a smooth sheet as intended for window screen and door inserts. The product itself is a very good quality otherwise.

I had an issue with rats and mice getting into our shed attic. Yes, the attic; they were somehow climbing up into the attic. I finally figured out that they were climbing between the siding and plywood, so I ordered this mesh to help cover the areas at the top of the plywood that was giving them entry into the shed. It was very easy to install and cut, and also easy to staple in the areas that I needed. Since this mesh is metallic, they cant chew through it and instead will probably end up with little broken teeth. Serves them right.

I think this will work. Good screen

This was bought to repair the screens on my foundation vent. I bought it because it said it could be used for the vent but this wire is too flimsy for that purpose. The original mesh is heavier like a 10 mesh. And if critters can eat through that then this wire mesh would be like eating through butter for that use. It’s probably ok for window screen which is what I’ll save it for now. Don’t be misled.

To stretchy

This wonderful product has the hole diameters and softness of screen door mesh. They send a pair of gloves, which really isnt necessary, but a nice touch. The weather strip could be longer, but is really just a bonus. My Ace Hardware mesh was more like chicken wire and DID cut my hands. Score 1 for Amazon! and whatever Chinese outfit that was involved. I use this to cover my vents so the ferrets dont get too curious. A cordless drill will shred the material. To fasten to drywall or wood, use nails or staples. On carpet, Gorilla-brand duct tape will hold in place. Edit 6 months later: just want to add that the material is durable and has held up with nails to anchor into moulding and staples for dry wall. I successfully used rivets to attach to sheet metal radiator. I dont understand the low rating. This product is a gem for almost amy conceivable size.

Ive purchased alot of things from Amazon and almost never write a review, but I always read the negative reviews before purchasing. Sometimes people are just picky about things and I like to find out for myself. This is one of those times other negative reviews were right. In some places the screen has creases in it that you cant get out, I stretched it as any other screen materiel but it just warped the screen frame. I cut the excess screen roll away from the frame with scissors and wherever the remaining screen hit my hand it punchered the skin. I have used aluminum screen before with no issues so this shouldnt be that different. To be fair I would say if you need the screen for uses like as a filter or to cover something it would be OK but not for frames. Also, I always use gloves while working on projects, this was one project that needed good dexterity so no gloves. You must where gloves if your going to cut this stuff, you can see the small red dots of blood on the back of my left hand. I gave it a 2 star just because it could be used for something other then screen replacement in frames.
