> 24 hourI’m an avid hobbyist who enjoys detailing my cars and boat. There is nothing like the quality of a 3M product. These are worth the money.

> 24 hourIve been using these for years (since 1998) and they are the best pad to use on a black car - I used them to restore the paint on a BMW convertible way back in 1998 and that car was often confused as a new car (it wasnt.... when I bought it the paint had a shine the equivalent of a piece of dirt). I use these with a Porter Cable orbital polisher and the 3M Perfect It polish. No swirls and you can get 3Ms dark Perfect It and it leaves absolutely no white residue anywhere. However, the Perfect it will stain anything that gets in its way so, if you have a convertible, cover the top with towels or plastic..... and wipe up any spatter immediately from walls. Your clothes? Wear nothing you want to ever be seen in again. Sadly, thats the price you pay for using the dark Perfect It. If you like white schmoo in all the crevices on your car and the white residue on the plastics, you can use Meguiars glaze with these pads as well. When storing them, rinse them out and let them dry before putting them away. They will dry rot and crack if you dont.......

> 24 hourSeems to be holding up quite well. I am only a hobbyist and dont really beat on it. And I was sick and tired of going to the body shop supply house and paying through the nose , and every time I acquired them it was a different price. I would recommend them to anyone. I actually reduce the diameter and use it on a smaller tool. Works great.

> 24 hourI tried using this pad with the dewalt poslisher, and the wax just disappears into the pad and barely puts any wax on the car. I didnt want to push it too hard into the car because I was afraid it would damage the paint. It has a lot of friction between the pad and the car so it keeps pulling me when the pad is spinning.
