I purchase this product to get rid of worries about battery and the long camera usage that can drain the battery. I also want my cameras to work if no power is avail… So I keep the battery and then also connect your AC power, camera start to have communication issues and I had to unplugged them. Reaching camera is very difficult and that is another reason why I opted for AC power option. So troubleshooting is very difficult to do. I’m not sure if it a power issue or camera cannot support both sources of power. I have the 5 exterior blink

No more replacing batteries, and video clip length can be increased to 1 minute

No need to waste time changing batteries or running out to buy expensive batteries when the camera dies. All power cords work and seem to have enough length to run a camera at every corner of the house. Of course If you dont have back up power when or if power is not available, cameras wont work even if powered by batteries the module itself would need power which is ran off of the 120 volt outlet.

We love our Blink cameras. 3 inside and 3 outside. Software easy to install. Monitoring cameras actually super fun. Looking forward to 6 weeks away knowing we can see what’s going on.

I like the way they seal the hole on the camera itself but they need to figure out a way to make them so you have an easier time pushing them thru drilled holes for installing cameras outside. Both ends are huge so you have to drill huge holes to push the end thru. Other than that, not a bad product Suggest getting rid of the USB on one end and making a jack that plugs directly into the wall plug. That would fix it
