These are some massive, heavy duty wire wheel brushes. They will certainly do the job of removing rust and corrosion from anywhere you can reach. They are great! The only bad thing is when pieces come flying off with the high RPMs of an angle grinder. So make sure youre wearing safety glasses and gloves and have complete coverage of all potentially exposed skin.

It’s only used about five times, but lasting longer than the Dewalt one I had.

Ill admit I was surprised when I opened this box and saw these brushes. I am impressed. These are heavy duty workhorse brushes. The twisted wire brushes are so tight I was unable to move the bristles with my fingers. They fit my 4.5 angle grinder just fine.

Price was high for such a poorly made product.

Good quality wire wheels, stood up to the test of rust removal. Work just as well or better than name brand. Affordable and would recommend this product to perform quality work.

I tried these on my Milwaukee M18 angle grinder and these bad boys take the rust off of my skid steer bucket very quickly. I did notice only a couple of wires that came out of the wheel. Not to bad so far I would say. Defiantly wear a mask and safety glasses when working with these wheels. Rust was flying off at a quick rate so use caution with these. I did not get a chance to try out the brass one yet but it is built the same way as the other wheels so it should also hold up fine. Now I have to try these out on other projects I have around home. I picked up the set mostly to use to clean up a boat trailer before I repainted it. It definitely held up under extreme use and pressure for several hours! Boat trailer now looks great and all the rust is gone. Cleaned up very quickly using this aggressive wheel and made for quick work for prime and paint. Highly recommend and a great value!

Ive gone through a few of these types of wire wheels. I went through a phase of finding old USA bench vises and restoring them. This usually involved using my angle grinder and wire wheels to strip off old rust and hardened dried grease. This seems to be an all inclusive set and includes something Ive not used, a brass brush. The RPMs printed on the back show to be rated for any angle grinder. One thing of note while using these is that the wire bristles while in use will come off and fly like bullets. When Im lazy and work with no shirt on, these will stick in your skin and sometimes draw blood. When I was wearing a leather apron, they will stick into the apron. Whatever you decide to do make sure you WEAR SAFETY GLASSES. You only get one set of eyes.

I like that the pack comes with 4 different style wire wheels. I tend to use the twisted wire wheels the most, but its nice to have the others. I used all of them to remove rust and old paint off a delta unisaw Im restoring and the wheels worked great. Good variety of shapes to get into corners. I did some really aggressive work on some panels and found that the wires starts to really fly off these wheels if you get aggressive with them. I think all wire wheels do this, but I think these guys really started to come off quickly. They lasted long enough for my project, and look like they will probably last at least a few more long days of grinding. They fit standard grinders and overall, they are good value, just make sure to protect your arms and wear your safety glasses.
