Greater than one weekThis product is not hooks like the OEM part, I cant say if it would have lasted longer or not. Both of these pads lasted about 5 minutes before the sander went out of balance. The pad is held on by four coarse screws that go into plastic and I did not want to over tighten. The first pad went out of balance so I took the pad off and reinstalled and tightened the screws more. The sander made an unexpected noise when I turned it back on. I thought I must have over tightened the first pad, so I put the second pad on very carefully to see that the screws held the pad uniformly. It did not last long before it went out of balance again. The bearing end cap and bearing retainer, both plastic parts, were also destroyed in the process. $5 in parts and $10 in shipping, plus the $20 for these pads make it a $35 mess. Seems to be a poor design from Dewalt. I just ordered an OEM pad, wish me luck. Tom

> 3 dayThey work great. A bit on the expensive side but have great adhesion to the discs and are Very easy to install. Just make sure you have a small star bit. Also, make sure you look at the mounting hole pattern before you order. There are 3 hole and 4 hole versions. I didn’t pay attention the first time I ordered and ordered the 3 hole. Totally my fault.

> 3 dayI wrote a letter of complaint shortly after receiving and using one of these replacements on my Dewalt! It worked fine for about a half an hour and it started vibrating excessively. Not thinking too much about it because the sanding discs were wearing out after about five minutes of moderate use. The next thing I knew the sanding pad had broken off at the screws and flew across my work area and melted my mount on the fairly new Dewalt orbital variable speed sander. I consider this as a dangerous replacement and now I have to buy another sander! I have not received any reply from amazon about my complaint! I have never complained about my prior purchases but this is ridiculous!!
