Greater than one weekI wanted a little travel USB Type C hub for USB Type A devices, and this works perfectly with my 2023 Lenovo Legion. I wouldnt recommend it if you use a stand for your laptop, as the cable is very short and will pull on the port if dangling off, but if you use your laptop on a desk, this will work just great. Tested with an external keyboard, XBOX wireless adapter, Logitech G502X adapter etc, - it works perfectly, - zero disconnections. Overall, works a treat, and great value, too. 5 out of 5. Excellent.

> 3 dayI have some usb operated holiday lights, and needed a way to power them without needing multiple bricks. This solves my problem, and I can plug them all into on outlet with this. It powers everything fine. I am not using it for data transfer, so cannot say if that works or not, but for powering usb items and charging it works great.

> 3 dayIt didn’t work In my car at all and only one usb slot works out of the 4 which completely negates the use of having this. I am unable to return it even though I just received it today. Very frustrating!

> 3 dayI specifically chose this particular USB 3 hub due to the 3 cable it has. Other hubs have very short cables, which makes them difficult to use with desktop PCs. This longer cable allows me to plug it in to be desktop PC and position the hub in a convenient spot on my desk. It just works and gets the job done perfectly. All ports negotiate at USB 3 speeds.

> 3 dayI just needed a USB expander -- it didnt need to special, it just needed to work, and this one does that. So far every gaget I have plugged in works. It keeps my speaker charged, USB memory sticks work just fine, my USB dvd player that I have rare occasion to use works. Mouse, and keyboard work. So Im happy.

07-06-2025So considering that this is made in China, I would not trust it for any sensitive information pass through, but for my intended purposes it is a great buy. I plan on using this in my RV as a splitter for the built in DC system to allow for multiple devices charging from the workstation where there is only a single USB port currently. Testing here at home went well and everything charged as expected across the ports.

> 3 dayThis USB 3.0 splitter from SANZANG is so light-weight and cheaply made that its a little hard to recommend but it does what its supposed to do and for $9.99 expecting a product with solid build quality that also works well may not be realistic. I connected this to a USB 3.0 port on my Windows 10 computer and then connected two portable USB 3.0 hard drives that are powered via their USB connection. The transfer speeds for both drives were consistent and very fast. To test the consistency of the transfer speed I played uncompressed music files for several hours from one of the drives while working on my computer and there was never any stutter or delay. As a second test, I played a high-definition movie (a 1080p MKV video file) from one of the drives and watched it on my computer monitor, and again the video played smoothly with no glitches, pixelation, pauses, or any other issues. I did not stream from both of the drives connected to this splitter at the same time because that isnt something I would ever actually do in a real-life situation but transferring files from both drives at the same time was a smooth and speedy process. In that type of situation, your computers USB card, USB drivers, CPU, RAM, and internal storage could easily affect the transfer as much as using a USB splitter would. Even though SANZANGs USB splitter works as intended and actually does so better than several USB splitters Ive tested costing around $7 more I do have concerns about the build quality. The shell of this splitter is plastic which is thinner and lighter than any other USB splitter I have ever seen. This splitter just feels cheap and likely not very durable. It should be good enough for basic home use but if youre looking for something to bring along with your laptop while traveling spending the extra money on a sturdier product is a good idea. The shell of this USB splitter might survive drops onto a hard floor but I would expect it to crack easily if someone should accidentally step on it and dont know that it would survive the stress of being knocked around inside a traveling bag unless you cushion it well within some clothing. If the SANZANG USB splitter cost $15 instead of $10 it would be easy to dismiss as too cheaply made to recommend but this is probably worth ten bucks if you want something thats really cheap but will get the job done.

> 3 dayI ordered the version with the 40 cord for use on my office desk as I ran out of convenient front or side panel USB 3 ports on a tower CPU and laptops. - I did achieve (within error of margin) USB 3 transfer speeds with this, under ideal conditions (no simultaneous use with other ports). - This did charge my phone when I plugged it in (not advertised as being able to do this). - This could handle the power needed for an external SSD to function (using an all in one power & data cord). - Four different flash drives plugged into this at same time were all accessible as separate drives (in a Windows 10 environment) - One thing to watch out for is heat. As tested with 4 thumb drives plugged into this, I did access all drive data to verify functionality, but then left all drives unaccessed/idle as I typed up my review. Upon removing the thumb drives 20 minutes later, all were abnormally warm. I tested again using only one drive and one port. Same result. When plugging any of these drives into my computer or laptop USB port directly, none would even get warm unless I was actively accessing or writing data to them. This is unusual. This is pretty light weight, which initially annoyed me when it wanted to flip on its side, depending on what I plugged into it. It is now velcro’d in place, so problem solved. So far it works reliably, but the heat issue bothers me.
