> 3 day4-Port USB Hub by SANZANG -- USB 3.0 Hub, 5Gbps USB Splitter, USB Port Expander with 6-inch cable. This 4-port USB hub works perfectly -- it instantly turns one unused USB port into 4, giving me 3 additional USB ports. It’s light (made of plastic) but seems to be well-constructed and is by no means flimsy in my opinion. No, it probably will not work after you roll over it with a truck, but if that is a problem, good luck finding one that will. This hub has only a 6-inch cable, which might be an issue for some, but not for me. It sits neatly along side my laptop where I can easily reach it to plug and unplug my flash drives and other devices at will. If you prefer, there is a newer version of this item with a 40-inch cable for about $2 more. The Amazon description reads that “charging is not supported” but I’m not sure what that means because I am able to charge all the rechargeable devices that I tried … smartphone, flashlights, etc. You can plug this hub into any USB port, to expand the number of available ports, but you can also use it with a wall adapter to charge up to 4 devices at once with a single adapter. I highly recommend this USB hub – it works, it’s very portable, and it is inexpensive.

Greater than one weekI picked this 4 Port USB 3.0 with 3.3ft cable for its cord length and multiport capability and price point. I have a new micro-sized Win11 computer with limited space available and limited USB ports so I needed to be able to connect additional USB devices “away” from the computer; 3.3 feet turns out to be perfect for my needs. This USB hub has fast USB 3.0 data transfer for use with printers, USB flash drives, keyboard, mouse, CD/DVD/HDD drives, USB powered fan, speakers, headsets, cameras and more. It does have a blue “power” indicator light which is a useful diagnostic. Charging is not supported because it is not a “powered” USB hub. It can charge devices but the power is limited to your computer’s USB port output so it won’t be a fast charge. I don’t intend to use it for charging as I have other powered hubs and charging blocks for that. It would have been nice to offer at least one USB-C port but I have adapters for that conversion if needed. This is a really nice non-powered USB 3.0 hub with a long cord. It comes very nicely packaged as well. So far, it suits my needs perfectly and I can recommend it.

> 3 daySo considering that this is made in China, I would not trust it for any sensitive information pass through, but for my intended purposes it is a great buy. I plan on using this in my RV as a splitter for the built in DC system to allow for multiple devices charging from the workstation where there is only a single USB port currently. Testing here at home went well and everything charged as expected across the ports.

> 3 dayI specifically chose this particular USB 3 hub due to the 3 cable it has. Other hubs have very short cables, which makes them difficult to use with desktop PCs. This longer cable allows me to plug it in to be desktop PC and position the hub in a convenient spot on my desk. It just works and gets the job done perfectly. All ports negotiate at USB 3 speeds.

> 3 dayI ordered this product to address some USB port capacity issues I have been facing with a laptop I have to use for work. This is a nice small and lightweight device with 4 USB 3.0 ports. Not much else to it. Good hard plastic construction on the case and the USB-A connector is good quality. Great value!

> 3 dayFrom reading the comments others have left, there seems to be some confusion about whether this can power USB devices or if its only for data transfer. Some USB hubs have a separate power supply that plugs into an AC wall outlet so it can be used to power the hub and be used for fast recharging. This USB hub does not have an outboard power supply and relies only on the power from the USB outlet that it is plugged into. But that does not mean it cant be used to power other USB devices. It can. But not as strongly or quickly as hubs with separate power supplies. It does fast data transfer well. The build quality is just OK, not excellent as it is very light, almost entirely made of thin plastic and does not have a solid feel to it. But for the price, its a decent buy and gets the job done.

> 3 dayIt didn’t work In my car at all and only one usb slot works out of the 4 which completely negates the use of having this. I am unable to return it even though I just received it today. Very frustrating!
