> 3 dayFinding anything in Amazon using Amazons search is a frustrating experience with a barrage of marketing incorrect products. I eventually rolled the dice and bought this product for my Craftsman Random Orbital Sander 315.116040 (see first three original parts photos) Be aware, this product **does not fit** the 315.116040 without modification. I didnt buy tools for show so I DIYd the sander pad by drilling the holes out to be ovals using the same diameter drill bit and using the side of the drill bit but to lengthen each hole radially outwards, very carefully. Each hole is roughly 1.5x long by 1.0x wide (do not widen!). Then I attached it to the Craftsman sander without issue. For the money I paid for this ($7.79) it was not worth my time to return the part. Based upon the immediate need, it was worth the time to try and modify, which worked out nicely this time.

> 3 dayI received the replacement sander pad on the date promised. It fit on to my sander with no issues. I have only had the need to use my sander once since I received the new pad. On that one occasion the sanding sheet adhered to the new pad fine. It was like having a new sander again.

> 3 dayGreat value - the lowest price I found with the hole spacing I needed. Better adhesion than the original pad on my sander.

> 3 daythis was easy to install. Just remove 4 screws to take off the old pad and use them to add this more substantial one. The hook and loop works perfectly with the disks I bought. There is one caveat for using this with my B&D BDERO 100. The original pad is glued to a backing plate that fits into a collar. This product does not have the proper profile to slide into the collar. So you have to pry the backing plate off the old pad and use it as a shim when installing this one. Took about 5 min with a chisel to get it off.

> 3 dayThe item I got hardly hooks the loops at all. I can press the disc on and peel it back off with barely any of that typical velcro sound. My old, warn pad Im replacing hooks better. Considering reviews, I think that not everyone is getting the same product. Mine came from Tockrop direct. Im starting the return process after this review.
