They do exactly what they say. If you have a standard light switch that controls an outlet or just needs to always stay in one position, this does the trick in a clean, simple fashion. I saw another review about it having enough give to still cut power for a moment but I think they either are doing something very wrong or have special light switches. I cannot move the switches I installed these on at all. The only downsides are that you are buying probably more than you need like I was, and they are pretty expensive for the simple pieces of plastic that they are. Still, if youre fed up enough with switches being flipped that shouldnt be, these work.

Worked as Expected

Very please. We use them for the lights that power the motion detector lights; keeping the switch in the on position. We also use them on switches that control the outdoor smart lights that run on a timer. Again, the power always needs to be on. Would have been useful when my kids were little to prevent them from operating the fireplace that operates via two wall switches.

Perfect! I had a pink piece of tape blocking me from turning off a power switch in my living room and it looked so tacky. This toggle switch lock looks so much better and blocks it completely from being turned off.

It is a bit pricey but it serve the purpose. I would definitely buy and recommend it

The title says it all. These locks were simple to install and work great. The holes for the screws are not countersunk like those in a standard switch cover plate so the screws sit a little too far above the surface than is perfectly comfortable. Not a deal breaker but enough for me to give them a 4 star instead of 5 star rating.

Didn’t fit on my fairly standard light switch (although newer switches are smaller, so I understand), but I was able to squeeze it on. It works to keep my light switch on that controls what is now a smart outlet.

This is exactly what I needed for my smart home. Gone are the days of having a light show no response because someone flipped the switch off. I wish I couldve installed these underneath the plates, but thats not a deal breaker. Easy to install & no longer have to worry about any of my light bulbs!

Have it over my switch to my ring floodlight cam so it doesn’t get turned off by accident
