> 3 dayThis is a heavy duty high quality hole saw. I have purchased several bi-metal hole saws but this is extra heavy duty and included an arbor mandrel. Some people commented here that this hole saw did not work well on metal. I used this hole saw to cut 22 gauge steel and it worked great. Highly recommend this hole saw.

Greater than one weekDont expect this to last you a long time. We have used one blade and it was beginning to dull before we even cut through the side of a cabinet (particle board, not even hardwood).... So, I expect well get about one use out of each size we have to use. Didnt expect it to be disposable but thats about what it is. I worried when I got it because the shank was huge .... but the chuck on my husbands Craftsman did manage to open enough to hold it - definitely a 1/2 shank on the mandrels.

> 3 dayIt was my first time using a hole saw so had to fiddle to figure it out. I get it that its a tool and may not necessarily come with instructions but it would be nice to have as some parts are not intuitive. I put the drill bit assemby it came with and hole saw bit together the first time with the result if it being loose. I flipped one of the threaded components (the bolt) and it came out tighter. It was also odd that tightening is by turning left instead of right. This may be standard with other kits but I find that the starter drill bit could be shorter, perhaps I can find an adapter and use my other drill bits. So far only used one but it seems to work fine. Good variety if sizes.

Greater than one weekWorked for a bit, thought I busted my drill press, it caused it to overheat. Was not really impressed with this at all. Thankful I just had to let the drill press rest and it still worked. But I only used it that once. It sits in the garage collecting dust now.

> 3 dayThese are definitely more cheaply made than my standalone hole saws for going through hard materials, but it is very convenient to have all these sizes in one case. That makes them better than the random ones I have from different tool sets. They are sturdy enough for soft wood cutting, though not very deep. Making holes for electrical boxes and that sort of thing is no problem. If you just use a hole saw here and there, this is a good purchase.

Greater than one weekThis complete kit is excellent. Very sharp cutters. It includes an inch and a quarter, which many kits leave out. Super value. Highly recommended.

14-04-2025Used it to cut holes for 6 vent pipe. This thing is heavy and very sturdy. For the price its a bargain. Im not sure how long it will stay sharp, but it it will do the job without complaint.
