> 3 dayAs others have mentioned, the wire gauge is falsely advertised. I purchased the 4 gauge wire last Fall. Just got around to now. Tried crimping on a 4 gauge battery end and it was loose. Tried a 6 gauge and it worked. Measured the cooper as well and it is 6 gauge despite #4 gauge being clearly printed on the cable shell.

Truthful Review
> 3 dayThe good: Cable is copper, not the crappy copper clad aluminum being sold all over amazon. Its also true awg. Not international wire gauge. Quite flexible. The bad: Upon opening the package, the smell could be described as rotting butyl rubber (smells similar to vomit). However, this is not unexpected, and 24 hours later after airing out it smells like regular ol edpm rubber. No big deal.

> 3 dayI turned my minivan in to a small RV. I needed to run a cable to the back of the minivan to charge two deep cycle batteries. This was perfect for the job. There is no way I could ever pull too many amps through this cable. Good deal. Real copper and tough insulation.

> 3 dayGood super flexible wire. I used this for inverter to high amp batteries. Reasonably priced too.

> 3 dayThis is not true 4 awg (red wire). Ive got some true 4 awg wire for my solar panels (black wire) and this stuff is smaller. The 4 gauge ring terminals fit the black wire but are too big for this wire. Its more like 6 awg.
