> 3 dayRead the other reviews. The 4 gauge labeled wire is closer in size to 6 AWG. The seller is going to make some esoteric argument about how its correct, but its not. If you buy other equipment that expects 4 AWG sized wire, like crimpers, ferrules, and/or crimp lugs, it simply will not work. Its easier to NOT buy this sellers products than it is to risk incompatibility with, like, the rest of all your parts and the rest of the world.

> 3 dayWould tend to approve of aws certified instead of rohc. Havent yet put the true gauge awg micrometer on it but have been finding in other instances were some gauges fall slightly between regular ads awg gauges? Like metric or something Ike 9 gauge 11, 13 etc?

> 3 dayI havent used these cables yet. However I can tell they will work nicely in wiring a battery to our trolling motor.

08-06-2025Compared to the 2/0 cable we were previously using from Home Depot, this heavier-gauge 4/0 wire handles like butter. Its significantly easier to maneuver and easier to strip than what I was working with before. The cable did fray a bit easily if our cutters didnt cut it just right, but this was usually fixable. Very happy with the cable overall!
