These are a good set of tongs. We do not deep fry much so I wasnt that concerned with the 600 degree (self) rating of these, but still it is good to know the silicon inserts and covers will not melt. I will say they are perceivably lighter weight, thinner gauge alloy, than a name brand I have.

These 9 and 12 inch tongs with silicone on them are a really good value. They are solid and the silicone coating is thick and springy. The locking mechanism holds them securely closed. The silicone is high heat resistant and grips food firmly. I got the midnight blue and that bit of color is nice! Best of all they are dishwasher safe. We ran ours through a cleaning cycle and they came out like new.

Great tongs I used them for frying chicken and bbq tri tip. They are sturdy enough to pick up tri tip without issue and easy enough to turn chicken in the pan.

Weve had these tongs for over a month now and they are holding up really well! I throw them in the dishwasher after every use (on the highest heat wash & dry cycles) and they still look as good as new. The metal the handles are made out of feels nice and strong. Now I find myself using one of them every few days... so of course I feel silly for waiting so long to pick up a pair. This set in particular seems well made and I expect them to last a long time. I feel safe letting my older children use them because they are sturdy. I would defiantly recommend them.

I really like these tongs. With the flexible tips, they pick things up easily enough, and with the high temperature tolerance, the tips havent become damaged. They come out of the dishwasher perfectly clean and with none of those dreaded water spots. Both sizes are easy to handle. I use the shorter ones most, but I use the longer ones more often than I thought I would, for deeper pots, so Im happy there are two sizes. Compared to my previous tongs of various designs and materials, these are significantly better and have a smooth lock/unlock mechanism. Theyre just tongs, but its great when something works as it should and makes life easier.

This set of tongs are just what I wanted. I have a few other ones that are cheap and flimsy and Ive been looking to get some better ones. This set is much higher quality than the ones I have had. I like that the locking mechanism at the top of the handle is easy to use and doesnt slide around or engage unless you want it to. They are really great for turning food and for picking up what Im cooking. I used the large one to toss a big salad I made and it worked beautifully. Im really happy with these and I definitely recommend them.
