Exactly what I wanted and got what I ordered.

The small tongs are great for using in my small pans. When theres any grease spattering from a larger pan, the large ones keep my hands safe. The care instructions specifically say to keep the silicone parts away from open flames. This may limit their usefulness for grilling to food that wont cause flares. Im not sure if theyre meant for this, but I like being able to limit how far the tongs open by not pushing the lock all the way open. Both will work great as serving utensils for things like salads.

These tongs are nice to use and handy for flipping various food items while cooking or grilling. I like that the tongs can be locked while closed so that they dont take too much space in the utensil storage drawer.

This set of tongs are just what I wanted. I have a few other ones that are cheap and flimsy and Ive been looking to get some better ones. This set is much higher quality than the ones I have had. I like that the locking mechanism at the top of the handle is easy to use and doesnt slide around or engage unless you want it to. They are really great for turning food and for picking up what Im cooking. I used the large one to toss a big salad I made and it worked beautifully. Im really happy with these and I definitely recommend them.

I was having difficulty with mobility. So, I bought this to get the mail out of the mailbox from by car. The rubber tips keep the mail from slipping. Everyone thinks its silly, but I can get the mail now without issue. Love it!

These 9 and 12 inch tongs with silicone on them are a really good value. They are solid and the silicone coating is thick and springy. The locking mechanism holds them securely closed. The silicone is high heat resistant and grips food firmly. I got the midnight blue and that bit of color is nice! Best of all they are dishwasher safe. We ran ours through a cleaning cycle and they came out like new.

So I recently upgraded my stove to a much higher BTU burner and quickly found out that I definitely do not have the heat tolerance when those burners are on high. I have plenty of 12 and 6 inch tongs but they were always too short for applications like putting things into a steamer or deep frying where I didnt want to burn my hands, this 16” one is perfect though! It’s just far enough away that I am comfortably out of the hot zone. The construction of the tongs are pretty good nothing super cheap and nothing that I would say makes it super special compared to other average tong. Recommend for the price.
