623181 Q-Tips Cotton Swab, Standard, White, 500 Count (Pack of 1)

Over the decades Qtip brand was always the best quality cotton swabs you could get. Ive tried many other store brands and generics to find poor materials (not really cotton), poor wrap, weak cardboard sticks and poor cushioning so Qtip brand was my go to, always on hand. The last box of 400 or 500 had much less cotton swab on the red and actually has been painful to use on ears and the weak bendable cardboard sticks. I assumed it was a fluke, a batch made it passed QA. I just received another box and its the same very poor quality. It seems to be a trend with many major label companies cutting corners in every realm possible in order the bolster profit margins. What a flawed business model since it only causes consumers to look elsewhere for a quality product. Unilever - fail. Done with Qtip brand.

The product is good and I am using it, but it would be better if the cotton swab was a little heavier, I.e, had more cotton on it.

Like most things nowadays, they just dont make things like they used to. They are sturdy and they will do the job, but definately not the sft cushy product I am used to.

Ive used Q-Tips for as long as Ive had ears. They can do great things that are unrelated to ears too. A brilliant little tool for cleaning small places. I admit, I am one of those daring folks that us the Q tip in ways that are not advised. If I dont clean inside my ears, my head feels dangerously pressurized. Please do not stick Q Tips in your ear. On wrong move and you could go through the rest of your life in mono.

I have tried other brands, but will stick to the old favorite cotton swab, Q-tips. Reliable and safe.
