Beautiful threads. When it comes to embroidery threads, it can be a matter of personal opinion as well as how well a particular embroidery machine handles them. I like these better than the leading brands. They lay smoothly with beautiful luster. My Janome 9850 has no problem embroidering with those. So far no thread breaks. I don’t like the spools themselves. Threads can unravel quickly, as there is no thread lock on these. This is where the leading brand spools shine. But when it comes to saving money, I’d rather deal with the poor spools than pay premium for well engineered piece of plastic. This set comes with beautiful variety of 63 colors, I couldn’t imagine wanting more. The bonus tear away stabilizer is nice. Works as expected. It gave me just the right tension for embroidery and tore at the stitching in a nice smooth action. I am really happy with this set.

I got my starter back of newbrothread and stabilizer. Absolutely love the way these sew. They also come packaged so nice. Definitely recommend these threads.

So many colors! I am researching purchasing an embroidery machine and looking forward to utilizing all these colors in my creations. The kit has a Spool Color Chart with a photo of the thread color, color name, and number. On the reverse side is a beneficial conversion chart for Brother, Madeira Polyneon, and Madeira Rayon. The 10 x 10 yards tearaway stabilizer included in the kit will help me with the learning curve of using an embroidery machine. The seller even threw in a gift of several thread nets! This is such an awesome starter kit and such a great gift for someone starting out using an embroidery machine. With an assortment of 63 colors and stabilizer a newbie can get started right away. I have used this thread with both my Brother pe800 and my Babylock Meridian without any problems. It does not shread or break and the colors are amazing. I have been using Brotheards thread for a while now and this set will allow me to replace the ones that I am running low on. I have also used their tearaway stabilizer and I know you will love it. I highly recommend this set and will purchase again.

I’ve been using Brothread for a little over a year and recently purchased the starter kit. So many beautiful colors that stitch out perfectly on my Babylock and the stabilizer is fabulous! I love that this thread is so vibrant and leaves virtually no lint in my bobbin case. No change in the thread even after using my steaming hot iron to press my finished projects. Such a great combo set. The tearaway medium stabilizer was a very nice addition to the offering. The stabilizer hoops well and is very easy to work with. The colors in this offering are beautiful and vibrant. Such a great selection. These threads are stitching out very well on our 16 needle and single needle machines. Highest of Recommendations.

Our household really needed this. We got quite a bit more crafty since pandemic lockdowns and this gave us what we needed without tediously searching out thread options. This set has a fantastic assortment of colors at a reasonable price, however we obtained this set in exchange for this review, to be transparent. The thread is a good quality and feels sturdier than some spools we have in another brand. We are happy with this choice.
