Greater than one weekI have a lot of hard case like this, and this one is really nice. For the most part, it is good enough for my need. This case closes with a zipper only because it does not have a latch. Zipper-only hard cases are more vulnerable to malfunction because zippers can break or split apart with stress or excessive wear. If the zipper splits on this case, I will have a latch as a backup method to keep my case closed. I may find myself in a predicament when I need to check my broken-zippered bag at the airport. Therefore, I have luggage straps. Luggage straps are extremely effective to keep my case closed and will help prevent excessive stress or damage to the zipper. I bought this 20 inches version because I have lots of big one. It is big enough to fill up with normal items like clothing, shoes, and toiletries will almost always put me right at the airline weight limits. The case is very light, but I will only fill it up about 80% to 90% avoid paying the excess weight fees. So, all my belongings would be tightly packed and more secure inside. My initial inclination was not to buy something cheap because I dont want it to break on the first trip, or having stuck wheels or finicky handles. This one should last for me.

> 3 dayI like SWISS-GEAR BLACK 20-Inch CARRY-ON SUITCASE for it is expandable, lightweight(6.2lbs) and most maneuverable four wheel bag I have used! I don’t like the fine scratches and scuff marks on sides of the case I have experienced from use in vehicles.

> 3 dayLike other SwissGear products, this carry-on luggage has premium quality. At every corner and seam, it is made perfectly. It has an elegant and durable design. Its lightweight, but it feels sturdy. Similar to its backpack design, it features numerous pockets in the zippered divider. With the four spinner wheels, it can be rolled smoothly and effortlessly. I cant wait to carry it on my next trip.

Greater than one weekThe exterior is sturdy, but does not take away from the internal space. It extends about 2-3 inches as well. I went on vacation with this thing stuffed to the brim and it was still easy to travel with. Best purchase I could have made.

> 3 dayThis is lightweight and easy to roll. I realize this is for carry-on so it probably wont get bumped around a lot but the plastic shell seems very thin and flimsy. It is a good size and easy to move around.

> 3 dayI have used this suit case about 4 times now and it works great. Its the first one that I have used that has the 4 wheels to glide instead of rolling it behind me. Its the perfect carry-on for an airplane and it actually holds a lot. I love how it expands for more storage but that wont fit in the overhead when expanded.

Greater than one weekBoth my mom and my husband thought this bag was even more expensive than it actually is. It just looks and feels expensive because it’s so lacquered and sleek and nice.

> 3 dayMy wife and I are the kind of travelers who try to just take 2 carry-ons when we fly. Weve got some soft-sided expandable ones that can turn into checked baggage if we buy too many souvenirs, but airline rules keep getting fiddlier about what sizes they accept, so we thought this was a good way to keep us honest. This one expands, but not so far that it wont fit in the overhead bins.

Greater than one weekSuch a classic looking carry-on piece. Really quite roomy, offers great space and for a few nights/days of travelling. Just the right size for carrying-on to an airplane. Its really easy to maneuver with, lightweight and looks SO COOL. Looks the glossy black coloring - really sharp.

> 3 dayI happened to come across this Swissgear 20 inch carry on the week before we were going on vacation. My 8 year old son didn’t have a suitcase and I was planning on just using some big duffel bags prior getting to this.
