I dont think I have uniquely thick hair, any thicker than your average person with thick hair. These clips do not hold up in actually thick hair. The material helps to keep them in place, however they are not large enough to get fully around the hair to properly secure it.

Very sturdy with well made springs. I have thick and heavy curly hair and these stand up to the test. Regular use no broken claws and the clip closes to a comfortable fit but strong hold. Totally worth it over it - quality well above name or common brands.

The paint on these is already chipping just pulling them out of the box—I haven’t worn them yet. They also feel very flimsy. You’re better off choosing something else!
