I bought heavy duty springs, printed many spring caps. These are awesome. Lightly tightened them, used Octoprints bed visualizer and started tightening as needed. The bed is level and has stayed level. Im glad I tried these.

I used these to replace the yellow springs on my CR-10 Max. These are too short I had to space them out with 2 5/16 washers at each corner to space the bed up higher to allow enough Z offset. I am using a microswiss all metal hot end and that does move the Z up a bit more so i still gave it 4 stars i wish there was a way to specify a length. I might 3D print some Plastic Spacers to move the Z up a bit so i can tighten the Adjusters more to stiffen the bed a little more or i might do a Linear Rail Kit to stiffen it up a bit. When you are printing a big print on the bed and you approach a full roll of filament the springs would shake the silicone doesnt shake as much but Im looking for something even more rigid.

The thing with silicone solid bed mounts is they arent really very solid if they have relief sections on either end. I assume these are for using lock nuts on the upper section, with the nuts taking up the open section. This really isnt necessary for solid bed mounts and is really an answer to a question that doesnt need to be asked. Ultimately I think 3d printed solid mounts in ABS would be better but for the most basic application, these could work. You cannot tighten much with these, as they deform and you cant get a consistent height. You would have to put them in place with very minimal torque and likely either nylok nuts or at minimum thread locker.

Bought to replace the springs on my CR-10 mini and they work good once you adjust the bed leveling. Good product and you get 2 sets

Missing one of the larger ones. Received 5 instead of 6 and the 2 small ones.

these are way easier to setup vs the springs. they have just enough squish to keep things level. unlike the springs you cant push the bed down and move it out of level.

These are a great replacement for the sprimgs provided by the factory. The bed no longer needs to be elveled after every print.

fit and finish is very good

They work pretty good. I find them to be a bit stiffer than the springs.

My bed stays level much longer after installing these.
