> 24 hourI have always taken a pretty lazy approach to my fan/filter setup and just set the fan on top of the filter letting gravity keep them together. It was finally time to get a clamp to make it secure and give me the option to hang the whole unit and choosing AC Infinity was a no brainer. Ive never had any issues with any of their stuff over the years so I expected this to be no different, and was right. Its very secure which is why I ordered it so Id be happy with that alone but it actually does cut down the noise a bit so thats nothing to complain about. My fan is a serious all metal beefy unit so for it to dampen it is pretty good. If I ran it with the plastic fan I have it would probably silence it completely.

> 24 hourSome people complain about how it fits but they’re just ignorant. It’s designed to bridge the size difference so when you see it reducing on one end you know it’s working. Eliminates vibration noise and seals it up tight.

> 24 hourGood quality, helps cut down on vibrational noises in between the charcoal filter and the inline fan. Worth it, every bit of noise reduction is needed since my grow tent is inside my bedroom

> 24 hourDisclosure: This was sent to me for free via the Vine program. I did not receive monetary compensation to write this review, just the product itself. Awhile back, I got an AC Infinity Air Filtration Pro CLOUDLINE 4 through the Vine program. When we set it up, almost everything about it was perfect. Except for one thing. When its time to connect the activated carbon filter to the air pump and the electronic controller, they provided you with...tape. Bear in mind, this is a $190.00 retail system and they included tape to attach things. Not even really duct tape, just standard tape. So when I discovered this, I begrudgingly put in for it. The grommet comes in a plastic bag. Its about 3-4 inches long with two pipe clamps on it that can be tightened by a Phillips head screw (Philips? I can never remember). To install, you remove the tape that previously anchored the carbon filter (poorly) to the air filtration unit. You then gently separate the carbon filter from the air filtration unit and slide this unit in-between. Then, you gently push the air filtration unit into the grommet and tighten the pipe clamp and repeat the same action on the other side for the carbon filter unit. The unit is made out of fairly rigid plastic aside from the flanges at the end so make sure everything is even as it doesnt have much bend to it. Then, revel in your HVAC prowess. Truth be told, this should have been in the box to start. Sure, its $13 but it should have been in the nearly $200 unit that I got before, not tape. So would I recommend getting it? Yeah, if you got the air filtration assembly previously and it had tape. But I would HIGHLY encourage AC Infinity to put this in the kits from the get-go. This is just nickel and dime-ing people at this point. I paid nearly $200 before, why should I pay an extra $13 for a part that should have been in there in the first place?

> 24 hourNow that product has actually arrived I can properly review it. Connector hose is a tight fit but you want that. So as a result it is a little difficult getting it seated on both ends. Product does work as advertised. I liked it so well I have ordered 2 more so I can make all fan to device connections. I do recommend this product.

> 24 hourI used a couple of these to connect a high-CFM duct fan into 8 metal ducting. Years ago I had installed a pop-up vent behind our kitchen center-island cooktop, but I never got around to installing a fan to vent it outside. In the process of finishing our basement, I decided I should probably get that done before installing drywall and buttoning up the ceiling below the main-floor kitchen. I used standard 8 HAVC ducting to route the vent, and purchased a Vortex VTX800 duct fan here on Amazon, and then had to find a way to connect the fan into the ducting without transmitting vibration from the fan into the ducting. Standard 8 rubber couplers are not 8, as they are made for connecting to PVC and similar pipe with an outside diameter larger than 8. These AC Infinity couplers, however, are exactly 8 inside diameter, and while theyre a little shorter than I would have preferred, they worked perfectly. Theyre a little costly for the material you get, but I dont know that theres anything else this size out there, so this was a great find. Thank you Amazon!

> 24 hourThis duct coupler works perfectly! It fits perfectly creating an air tight seal and noticeably reduces noise. I highly recommend it.
