> 3 dayQuality item but since it’s specifically manufactured for the connection between the carbon filter and the inline fan I believe the ac infinity team made one small error when designing this otherwise easily obtainable item from your common home improvement store. The carbon filter opening is “slightly larger” than the opening of the inline fan to allow the two to easily nest inside each other to make an otherwise solid connection if you’re not using this coupling. Once you proceed to connect the two it’s apparent that the inline fan has a few mm of space before it can be air tight once secured. The byproduct is the rubber has to bend in order to make a proper connection. It’s a minor caveat, but kinda lame nonetheless imho since you literally can go by a fernco coupling in the plumbing dept at lowes without the fancy branding for the same exact price. I bought this item assuming it was spec’d specifically for this task making it a more “precise fit”, I was wrong. All in all, I still recommend this item if you’re looking to either avoid using duct tape, or need the noise cancellation it helps provide since there is no price difference between this and a fernco coupling and you get the fancy ac infinity branding.

> 3 dayThis is a great product. Its just thin enough to be flexible, and thick enough to be very sturdy. You can always rely on AC INFINTY to make quality products.

> 3 dayI have always taken a pretty lazy approach to my fan/filter setup and just set the fan on top of the filter letting gravity keep them together. It was finally time to get a clamp to make it secure and give me the option to hang the whole unit and choosing AC Infinity was a no brainer. Ive never had any issues with any of their stuff over the years so I expected this to be no different, and was right. Its very secure which is why I ordered it so Id be happy with that alone but it actually does cut down the noise a bit so thats nothing to complain about. My fan is a serious all metal beefy unit so for it to dampen it is pretty good. If I ran it with the plastic fan I have it would probably silence it completely.

> 3 dayQuick 2 minutes install that eliminated the duct tape connector I had made. Airtight seal to connect ducting/filtration systems. Such a small yet important piece of your grow. Has a ridge inside to stop from sliding too far and included two clamps to tighten it down.

> 3 dayI bought this on a whim, and man was it worth it. Sound dampening for sure, but it LOOKS sleek and really ties everything together.
