People say kids are not dogs, and my response to that is this works for me. My granddaughter is a runner. she will run off really fast in a store or parking lot, she is only two and does not understand the dangers of doing that so this works for me as I would rather be safe than sorry and it allows her a little independence to walk with me instead of having to ride in the cart which she hates.... this is a life saver to parents and grandparents.
