Greater than one weekWe bought these lights to replace the stock halogen lights in our 2009 Winnebago View. They install fairly easily and appear to be about the same brightness/lumens as the halogens. A couple notes: While the light color temp (*K) is alright, they are not warm white (2,700 to 3,000 *K). They are a bit above that. They have none of the orange tint that an incandescent lamp has. They are clearly cooler than the halogens and my warm white LED flashlight. Still, they arent obnoxiously harsh either. I think most people will find their color temp OK, but thats subjective. We plan to keep them. The wire that the mounting clips are made from is very small gauge, very flimsy and flexible. It makes them a bit difficult to move into position prior to slipping them into the mounting holes, because they twist. Nothing has broken so far, but the mfr could increase the diameter of the wire. The spring tension itself is fine. By comparison, the lights in our range hood use much thicker wire for the clips (the spring tension is a bit higher as well). The aluminum body of the lights feels substantial and the light is well distributed. These lights solved a few problems for us: * They allowed us to replace the halogen lamps with LEDs of similar brightness (if slightly higher color temp). * We were able to replace the fixtures and lenses at the same time -- which was important since the stock fixtures were/are cheap and the lenses kept falling off. * Less energy use * Less heat generated. The halogens will literally burn you they get so hot. They actually melted chocolate in the cabinet above them! Its amazing what 10W can do. Bottom line, assuming they are reliable and long-lasting, they are a good buy.

> 3 dayOrdered 8 of these for my sailboat and was very pleased with the product. They are built solidly and work great. Unit is very thin and fit inside the headliner easily. Keeper spring is very strong and holds the light in place well. I replaced all of the halogen style lights with these and even with all 8 burning my inverter meter doesnt even register a full amp draw. Had a problem with one of the lights and customer service was all over it. Would not hesitate to purchase more. Great Product and company!

> 3 dayI have not yet installed these in my camper, however, to test them out I touched them to the leads of my lawnmower battery to see how bright they really were, let me tell you that they are extremble bright for their small size.

> 3 dayI love these little lights. I installed 20 of them for our small (10’ x 13’) mobile home bedroom, and plan on adding more throughout as we remodel room by room. I love that: - they don’t take up any room in the ceiling (like, literally the same depth as the 1/2” drywall I installed them in!) - they run on a dedicated DC power supply, so there’s no issues whatsoever with the 60hz flicker common with residential LED lighting - you don’t need bulky romex wiring (I used 14awg speaker wire that has red and black conductors). What a pleasure when you’re wiring up a bunch of them! I am honestly surprised that more people aren’t lighting their homes with low voltage leds. These lights in particular fit the bill quite nicely. 20 lights is a pretty good sample size, IMO, and I have not had a single issue with any of them. I have 32 more or them sitting in a box already, waiting to be installed in my new tall-barn shed/mancave.

> 3 dayI utilized the lights for downlighting on my kitchen cooktop. I did this by cutting a custom aluminum plate with holes to mount the lights. I also installed a light switch and dimmer in the panel. The light housing ring easily screws off so it could be painted black to match the panel. The lights provide far greater light output as compared to most range hoods. I have had the lights for over two years and have not experienced any failures. Light intensity, color, quality and reliability are all very good.

> 3 dayBought these to replace lights on my beneteau Oceanis due to halogen bulbs melting the fixture. Perfect fit ,only thing I had to do was place blade connectors on power leads and plug into existing wiring . Took maybe 15 seconds to put new ends on and replace. Plenty bright wiyh a warm feeling .

> 3 dayThese lights are great looking very easy to install. Excellent as far as the amount of usage compared to the brightness. They have a color coded 6 inch pig tail making installation fast and simple. I use them with a small 12 volt solar set up i have and they are nice and bright for there size with very little draw on my batteries. No inverter needed.

> 3 dayThese worked very well for me. Easy to install. I installed them under the HVAC duct cover. I decided to connect them to a 12v battery, charged by a solar panel. I have left them on for an entire night a couple of times just to test if they would drain the battery. So far so good.

> 3 dayI used these in a ceiling panel on a boat. Had very little depth to work with plus I also didnt want a light fixture that would stick out to hit my head on. They work great and are quite bright.
