Very happy with this laptop - especially the speed.

Bought two Acer Aspire laptops about a year ago. One works perfectly. The other died a month ago. I have tried to contact Acer support several times to no avail. No one responds. When finally someone seems to respond the call just drops. Will NOT recommend this computer or this company to anyone. This is NOT service.

There were some fan and screen issues until updates were done, which included BIOS updates. Once the updates were easily done then the laptop works like a charm. The extra RAM, I7 and IRIS video makes it pretty zippy. Used by college student.

My acer order clearly states, that it has a back lighted keyboard. It did not have it. The backlite keyboard is a very expensive option, without it.

The screen was just too small for me. Other than that, it’s a sleek computer with lots of great features.

Was thrilled when received, but within two weeks, my new Acer failed to boot. No damage, just stopped working. On line support excellent but ended up needing to send to Acer for service. Returned and working, but Ive lost confidence in this purchase. Time will tell.

I purchased this laptop to use for basic functions only. Microsoft Office, browsing, and Zoom calls. 4GB RAM is not sufficient for Windows 11 or these functions, but I knew that upon purchasing. I immediately added another 8GB RAM. However, there were still significant lag and audio issues. I made sure all the drivers and other updates were completed, but the sound would be distorted or not work at all sometimes while on Zoom calls. It could handle Office functions, but anything beyond that was a real struggle. I returned the laptop as it could not even handle these basic functions.

I love my laptop. It is very light and easy to use. I did have some trouble with the finger print reader, so I have been using my code that i set up. I don’t think it is an issue with the reader on the computer. I always gad issues with my fingerprint for my work id card.

My son got in a week time some issues, when pressing spacebar screen glidged ( see uploaded video) and a fully charged battery lasted maximum 5 hours.

I was bit disappointed when i first got, but after a few updates I find it pretty amazing. It does a very good job with AutoCAD and Prokon. Runs very smooth with light gaming.
