So far, so good! Keypad feels good-I’m a writer and it’s very fluid for typing for extended periods of time. Good price considering the quality.

Do not buy this pos product. The hard drive is likely to fail on you. It will fail within a day of the Amazon return window closing. Acer will replace it with a similarly faulty hard drive that will fail again. Additionally, just dont buy electronics from Amazon. They wont help you with anything at all once that 30 day mark passes.

I have had it for 3 months and already had to take it to computer repair he said its cheap cheap send it back. It locked me out of my online banking nobody could figure it out. I say save a few more bucks up and get a good computer.

This is a great laptop. I have had it for some time. I am not overly technical but call this a good performer. I do a lot of screen time, mostly internet surfing. Its easy to work with and has a good battery life. It is totally quiet and doesnt ever get hot. Its not light, but not heavy either. Its also durable. The operating system performs well and havent found any quirks. Overall great.

Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with this Acer Aspire 5, but extremely disappointed there is no place to plug in my camera SD card. Why did they eliminate that? Duh!!!

I bought this laptop for my son, and it was the first time buying the Acer brand. I am extremely dissapointed with this laptop since it lasted only a month. I took it to the A/S center and found out that the mother board, and even the hard drive was damaged. Not buying acer ever again.

Terrible. Payed 300 dollars for this and it is worse then a $150 chrome book. Off the bat, the headphone jack didn’t work. Tried everything and it still wouldn’t work but figured we’d make do with it. It takes so long for it to process everything, which we didn’t care about, but then the mouse just stopped working randomly. Nothing happened to it, just stopped working. Only a few minutes later after we noticed you can’t even turn it back on again and it says “preparing automatic repair”. So disappointed, we knew it was no macbook but a computer that’s half the price of this one lasts longer.

Im two days in and am becoming slightly frustrated. I like the PC, it was initially fast, but after a few software updates its lagging terribly and the mousepad is intermittently cutting out now requiring to be switched off and then on again to begin working (probably a software issue). However, the main hardware issue is battery life. It is not working so well with mixed usage and so, realistically, with screen brightness significantly down, if you stream, read articles and write a bit, consider six hours give or take a realistic look. Otherwise, love the screen (my first 1080p one), keyboard is enjoyable and, other than the fan regularly switching on for me and dip in performance the last few hours, the thing is pretty fast.

Well overall I do like this laptop. Its super slim and light and is so nice to take when traveling. The screen is a great size and the keyboard is responsive and easy to use. The speed has been good but weve had some wi-fi issues. Sometimes it just doesnt want to connect. I notice this on startups sometimes. I dont even know how I fix it sometimes I just know that sometimes it wont be connected for no obvious reason. Other than that, its really good.
