> 3 dayI was in the market for a monitor for a while, hunting for deals. My minimum specifications required were 21-24, 75hz, 1ms response, IPS panel. I eventually found two monitors (this and another) that shared technical specifications closely but one was a gaming monitor (sharp stand, etc) and the other was this sensible Acer. I ended up asking Reddit for a comparison, as the gaming monitor was up ~$50 more or so. Turns out that they were indeed the same panel, but you pay more for it to look like a gaming rig.

> 3 dayedit: The ghosting effect I had was actually because I had the overdrive setting set to extreme when I was testing it, after switching it back to normal, it no longer happens. So overall its pretty good for gaming and as an external monitor for mac book pro.

06-06-2025This thing is awesome. The size is just right for my setup. The brightness is great. The resolution is good with HDMI, but fantastic with DisplayPort! I highly recommend using the displayport option. The colors are great and it is flicker free. The elevation adjustment is also a very nice feature. It tilts nicely as well.

> 3 dayEverything runs smoothly and there no color issues. It does adjust up and down. The only problem is there’s no speakers or a place to plug in speakers

Greater than one weekI am able to have so many tabs open that I am able to work well with the second screen. I love it. The only problem is because I have the larger screen behind and not beside my smaller screen it’s hard to remember which way to switch mouse use.

> 3 dayVery good monitor, easy to set up, picture is good. Sound is terrible, have to use external speaker to hear anything.

> 3 dayInstructions that came with this Acer monitor says cables are optional besides the power cord. Not true. HDMI cable to connect to a USB port or micro-port is mandatory. The HDMI cable is for camera. Also have to use a VGA output cable as well to a port.

> 3 dayThe picture quality is pretty good so theres no complaint there considering the price was quite good. The issue is how long it takes the monitor to latch on a signal.
