> 3 dayWe bought this Acer chromebook for kids to use doing homework. Mainly we were attracted to the inexpensive price. But wow, we have been impressed and now all enjoy using it. Most impressive have been the sturdy hinge that can open almost all the way flat. And even after have a family of 8 put this chromebook through daily use for a whole school year, the hinge is just as solid as when we bought it. The portability is as good as advertised with the light weight and compact size making it easy to carry around the house, use while sitting on the bed, the couch, the floor, the hammock, in the car or at the counter. Great for watching movies, the HDMI plug helps mirror to TV, or browsing internet and shopping online too. Were sold on this form factor. Ditching the laptops and getting a couple more of these.

19-04-2025Absolute junk. Got this brand new. Took it out of the box, got it set up, walked away for 20 minutes and when I came back the screen was black and wouldnt show a display at all. Tried closing/reopening, turning it off/on again, even looked up troubleshooting tips on Google. NOTHING WORKED. Got about 35 minutes of use out of it. Absolute crap product by Acer. DO NOT BUY!

> 3 dayThis computers bluetooth would suddenly stop. This made the wireless mouse unusable so I bought a wired one, The USB to which I connected the new mouse would sporadically stop sending power. This made that mouse unusable. I contacted Acer about this and they eventually referred me to a repair shop. Because this was problematic during the pandemic shutdown, I had to do the best I could. Eventually I had to buy a new computer. All in all, a very poor experience.

> 3 dayVery first chromebook Ive owned and for the price, and quality you really cant beat it comes with a very well made case zipper seems sturdy and NOT cheap! Its padded and protects the laptop very well if your on the Go ... Just wish there was instructions on how to connect the wireless mouse took me a while but I figured it out the top comes off and theres a mini USB inside, you plug it in the chromebook turn the mouse on from the bottom, and just like that it works ! 1

> 3 day2 chromebooks bought from this seller, one of them kepting malfunction by repeating whole set up process over and over. Return and bought 3rd through them, set up went good and nearly 2 months passed. The new receive from return prompted update and restart, so I restarted and its never ending prompt of Your system is repairing itself for the past hour and still going. It shows top timer to 53-56 seconds then a second timer counts down 3:50 only to shut off and pop back on to do exact same thing. Look on the back label to see this is 2 years old! I bought these for my daughters schooling. Beware of this seller, might be best to go to actually store for these purchases.

Greater than one weekI was really excited about this product. It is for my childs virtual school. They start school in the morning and by lunch it is dead... less than 4 hours later.. One of the things I looked at when deciding was battery life and this said up to 12 hours... I cant even get 4... disappointed.
