01-12-2024I needed an affordable laptop for emails, documents, online billings and watching Prime videos and such. So, i priced some Chromebooks out online, and found this metal blue one with matching carrying case and dual usb ports. The cost was under $250, and the set up was a snap. I am used to microsoft pcs, so i had to watch tutorials. But, i am far from a computer whizz and it really is a snap to get this cb up and cookin. Battery life is fantastic... I can go over 3 hrs without a charge, unless i am hitting a lot of videos or aps. But still very ample. Fully Charges in less than 10 min.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent home or school laptop. My son has used it since September every day at school, with a lot of time outside (due to COVID). It boots up almost instantly and has great battery life (7-8 hour). It is almost as light as a MacBook Air and has a large screen. For doing work in Google Docs, surfing the web, watching movies on Netflix or YouTube, this is a great laptop.

> 3 day2 chromebooks bought from this seller, one of them kepting malfunction by repeating whole set up process over and over. Return and bought 3rd through them, set up went good and nearly 2 months passed. The new receive from return prompted update and restart, so I restarted and its never ending prompt of Your system is repairing itself for the past hour and still going. It shows top timer to 53-56 seconds then a second timer counts down 3:50 only to shut off and pop back on to do exact same thing. Look on the back label to see this is 2 years old! I bought these for my daughters schooling. Beware of this seller, might be best to go to actually store for these purchases.

> 3 dayI was just notified after booting my Chromebook that my security and operating system will no longer update after Jun 2022. I purchased my Chromebook in 2020, but I was not informed at the time of purchase that operating system and security updates would only be supported for two years. I find this situation unacceptable in todays world of hacking and computer breaches.

> 3 dayThis computers bluetooth would suddenly stop. This made the wireless mouse unusable so I bought a wired one, The USB to which I connected the new mouse would sporadically stop sending power. This made that mouse unusable. I contacted Acer about this and they eventually referred me to a repair shop. Because this was problematic during the pandemic shutdown, I had to do the best I could. Eventually I had to buy a new computer. All in all, a very poor experience.
