Worked great for kid with school work

not happy that this laptops auto experation update is 6/22. In two years this product will no longer be supported and can not be used for viewing movies. i will most likely return this item. other than that its performs well.

Two days after the return window closed it stopped turning on

2 chromebooks bought from this seller, one of them kepting malfunction by repeating whole set up process over and over. Return and bought 3rd through them, set up went good and nearly 2 months passed. The new receive from return prompted update and restart, so I restarted and its never ending prompt of Your system is repairing itself for the past hour and still going. It shows top timer to 53-56 seconds then a second timer counts down 3:50 only to shut off and pop back on to do exact same thing. Look on the back label to see this is 2 years old! I bought these for my daughters schooling. Beware of this seller, might be best to go to actually store for these purchases.

Great item for someone just starting out with tablet. Durable and easy to work with.

I bought this lap top for my mother 2 years ago on 5/29/2020. Up until 6/30/2022, it has been a decent machine. However, I was not aware that this item sat in Amazons warehouse for 3 years before it was sold to me. Chromebooks have an OS life of about 5 years before updates stop. On 6/30/2022, the Chromebook reached end of life, a warning popped up and all security updates stopped. I called Amazon and was told there was nothing they could do for me. They gave me the phone # to Acer to try to update the software, but this has been unsuccessful. I believe Amazon should take responsibility for products they sell, especially electronics. I have asked for a partial refund, but was told that was not possible. BEWARE OF PURCHASING ELECTRONICS THROUGH AMAZON!
