> 24 hourJust recd this computer and have used it now for 2 days. So far, I like the taller screen as it gives you much more usable space for webpages and such. On a regular screen size those annoying banners take up a good part of the page, so this computer allows for better viewing. The battery life is far superior to a Samsung Chromebook of which this computer replaced. I also notice right off that this Acer has much more volume than the Samsung. I like the matte black too as I hate shiny/glossy computers as it shows every little handprint. Overall for the price this is a dandy computer. Oh yeah...also its faster than the Samsung and has the same advertised memory. I may buy another and just keep it in the box for a backup.

> 24 hourI found it on sale for $79 but the regular $119 is still inexpensive and a great price value for the value. It is now my primary chromebook even though I own far more expensive chromebooks with better stats. This is a great choice for a student or a non-technical person looking for easy access to email, web surfing and streaming. The only missing features are a back lit keyboard and it doesnt have a touch screen (which I dont like and usually disable). It has good, but not great, audio; most chromebooks Ive seen have poor audio.

> 24 hourI was surprised by how solid the construction seems. But of course you have to take into account the fact that this was originally a $300 mid-price model. Chrome was super easy to setup and even transferred my apps from my phone. I installed a micro SD card and that adds plenty of extra on board storage. Just be sure to format the card after installation. Then you have to power down and back up for the computer to recognize the card. I connected a bluetooth mouse and that works great. Even the scroll bar on the mouse works. Im not someone who needed another computer but Im happy I bought this one. The screen is bright and detailed. Colors look good. It is rated to be able to be dropped 4 feet but dont try it just to see. Just know that it is rugged. The cover has a nice ribbed texture and the bottom has two raised rubberized risers with the rear one being a little larger. Overall you cant go wrong here. Just know the limitations of a Chromebook which are few and you are good to go.

> 24 hourThe device has stopped working. My daughter got it for Christmas and already not working. Waste of money and the return window is closed. Frustrated.

> 24 hourI purchased this device for my son, for college. It’s perfect for his needs. He writes papers, does research, even has several windows open at a time, with no slow down in performance.

> 24 hourThis Chromebook met my needs in every way that I was looking for as far as being lightweight, thin, and small. I wanted something that was able to easily slip into my backpack but be pull out of the backpack really quickly when I wanted to watch movies or shows. I can put this in my backpack and barely know that its in there.Im happy to say that this works great for airline travel. It doesnt take up hardly any room in my lap on the small airplane seats, and the screen is actually about the same size as the screens on the airline that Ive been using. I can easily connect this Chromebook to my headphones, and the flight goes by really quickly when using it. One thing that doesnt go by quickly though is the battery life on this chromebook. I took two flights and used the Chromebook quite a bit, and I noticed that I still had lots of battery life left on it when thinking about how small this Chromebook is. The battery life increases or decreases in the bottom right hand corner of the screen depending on how high the brightness is, so I recommend changing that and youll see your battery life meter fluctuate. For watching movies, I felt like the screen quality was mid grade. It didnt look like it was a high definition screen, but it didnt feel like it was low grade either. As far as the keyboard, I have pretty big hands, and I feel like its somewhat easy to type on this keyboard. I wouldnt want to type on this small of a keyboard all day long, but for a few hours here and there it meets my needs. This Chromebook does not come with a case, but it does come with a charger which is a USB type-c. Keep in mind this isnt just a standard USB type-c like you would use for a cell phone, it is a USB type-c charger that is attached to a transformer.

> 24 hourI have basically given up on using this because it is pretty slow; it is particularly slow when it first starts up. I will admit Ive mostly been at home and can use a full computer, which I prefer, so I havent used this much; particularly since it was so relatively slow. I bought this for travel, and to not care too much if it got lost, broken, or stolen (I bought it on sale for about $90).

> 24 hourChromebooks are really good if the end of life is 4 or more years from purchase This Acer has a 4 year end of life and all security you need with Chrome operating system This model did not have touch screen but the other features are good
