> 3 dayThis Chromebook was a gift for my daughter who loves it. Seems to be fast and looks good. Battery life is ok but could be improved. Probably at a higher cost to consumer so this isnt much of a complaint. Shes 13 and not a gamer so Im not sure if its capable of running anything too demanding. So far so good though!

> 3 dayConsidering how inexpensive this Acer Chromebook 512 is I wasn’t expecting anything amazing. But I was actually pretty surprised at what $200 can get you these days in a chrome book!

Greater than one weekI was surprised by how solid the construction seems. But of course you have to take into account the fact that this was originally a $300 mid-price model. Chrome was super easy to setup and even transferred my apps from my phone. I installed a micro SD card and that adds plenty of extra on board storage. Just be sure to format the card after installation. Then you have to power down and back up for the computer to recognize the card. I connected a bluetooth mouse and that works great. Even the scroll bar on the mouse works. Im not someone who needed another computer but Im happy I bought this one. The screen is bright and detailed. Colors look good. It is rated to be able to be dropped 4 feet but dont try it just to see. Just know that it is rugged. The cover has a nice ribbed texture and the bottom has two raised rubberized risers with the rear one being a little larger. Overall you cant go wrong here. Just know the limitations of a Chromebook which are few and you are good to go.

> 3 dayI am not a tech savvy person, nor do I know enough to quote specs for this machine. BUT, I do know that it works perfectly and was easy to set up/use for the person that is not tech savvy.

> 3 dayAfter the Windows 8 fiasco I swore that I would never own another computer running Windows. I had a $100 Acer Chromebook for years. I would still be using it if I hadnt stepped on it and broke the screen.

> 3 dayThis is a great tablet for home since it is the system that the kids use in school. They can log on using their school credentials and do assignments or complete activities.
