Greater than one weekI bought this laptop with high hopes from the reviews. I work in digital design and wanted to buy outside of apple. This brand new laptop has so many issues. The fingerprint scanner doesnt work, the video card is defective. My laptop shuts down several times a day. This is extremely inconvenient for my work and makes simple tasks long and difficult. I cant even connect to an external monitor for longer than fifteen minutes. Upon contacting the seller I was informed that although I have a warranty, I could not get a refund or new laptop. I would have to wait at least 20 days for them to try and repair the laptop. They were unfriendly and unwilling to work with me although I explained I need a laptop for my livelihood. I would not recommend buying this. Please look elsewhere for your design needs.

> 3 dayI used to be a build it yourself full size workstation tower kind of person. But with all the working from home over the past several months, Ive gotten used to having a macbook pro plugged into a thunderbolt docking station a with dual monitor, keyboard, mouse and wacom setup. So the idea of having an pre-configured art focused note book is something I was more comfortable with than I would have been before.

> 3 dayLook, this is a really cool concept for a laptop. A laptop for creators and artists to be able to take their work on the go, that’s what this laptop advertises itself as. It presents itself as a laptop, but with the desktop power to be able to handle heavier programs. The screen moves and comes out for whatever it is you need, but the reality is, the laptop is too compact to truly be able to handle my programs. Simply running things like Adobe Illustrator or small games and the laptop’s fans are louder than the actual fan in my room. I also quickly ran into audio issues, and the laptop itself has stopped playing sound out of the speakers entirely. I’ve only had the laptop for a day. Acer has produced many good laptops that can handle resource-heavy programs/games, and their Concept D models haven’t all been bad, but I believe this one just seems to be a simple laptop with a few more buffed specs. If you’re looking for a sleek compact design for good day to day laptop, this is a good choice. But as for anything much more than that, you’d probably be better off with an actual heavy duty gaming laptop.

> 3 dayI love this laptop. It is more powerfulI than bigger, more expensive ones, is small enough to take anywhere, and its collapsible screen make it incredibly versatile.

> 3 dayThis is the first time I’ve not bought a Mac for design work. I wanted a laptop with a drawing / touch screen included for on the go work. This was a good solution. It runs illustrator, photoshop and InDesign well. Colour screen is quite good as well. If you are wanting to save a little money over buying a MacBook and iPad separately this is a workable solution for graphic design and illustration.
