Bought this around April. Really good for editing videos, but now its fans are getting so loud. Its unbearable.

This computer is absolutely fabulous! I have an Acer Swift 5 for work, and I love it, but this Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel is even more impressive. I love the Acer products! Setup was easy, no so-called bloatware, and the speed is absolutely impressive. The difference is absolutely noticeable between the i7-8565U (which is still an impressive processor in its own right) on the Swift 5 and this fabulous ConceptD i7-10750H. Games in my library on Origin load lightning-fast and play well. The touchscreen is the nicest, most responsive and accurate Ive ever encountered. The stylus also works well; accurate. The location of the fingerprint reader is intelligent. The vents for the fans are also located wisely. And the keyboard! Oh, the keyboard of this laptop is wonderful! Its responsive and easy to tell that you have actually pressed the key. The webcam is nice and regardless that this is not a 4k resolution screen, its absolutely beautiful. Nicely done laptop - I am thoroughly impressed to say the least.

I can’t tell you enough DO NOT BUY THIS VERY EXPENSIVE PAPER WEIGHT. The screen does not have palm recognition as Acer claims, nor the 4000 points of pressure (not even 2000), it DOES NOT WORK with other Wacom pens, it has a loud fan and adobe illustrator is impossible to use efficiently with this as a result of the pencil barely working with a hand resting on screen and even then it doesn’t work well. The pen also jitters or is not reactive so you can’t always chose a tool or even close a window. In pad mode it often does not recognize a finger trying to close or open a window so you get stuck in whatever screen you are in and it just won’t work. THEIR TECHNICAL SUPPORT IS HORRIBLE! I mean YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS LAPTOP AND NO ONE THERE KNOWS A DAMN THING. For instance, I was speaking to tech about the Wacom pen not working and they asked “What’s Wacom”. I asked for the DEDICATED CONCEPTD 7 tech they CLAIM THEY HAVE AND THAT IS WHO I GOT. Someone who was ASKING ME TO EXOLAIN TO THEM WHAT WACOM TECHNOLOGY IS. Their level 2 staff, Donald from Temple Texas not only kept misgendering me but refused to help me with tech issues with my computer ,when I asked him to not call me sir. He told me he’d have to research why Wacom pens do not work on a Wacom screen which is what the last guy said before going to an Acer user forum and seeing what their customers say because they don’t squat. When asked to be put on the line with a tech support person who knows the product he refused. When asked to speak to his supervisor he refused. When asked to speak to someone to make a complaint against him, he put me on hold and never picked back up and after 30 minutes on hold I got disconnected. So if you buy this junk, you were warned. I’m getting my money back or I’m getting a lawyer. I hope this helps folks avoid making a mistake that could cost you a huge chunk of your savings, especially if you are a design professional. Stay away from this. None of their claims are even REMOTELY TRUE AND SHAME ON ANY REVIEWER LIKE LINUS TECH TIPS AND SARA DIETSCHY for spreading false claims on this product. Whatever they said was untrue and I hope this review also puts their integrity and their reputation in question by any followers they have. Honestly, I’m blaming myself for believing the hype. I should know better by now that tech specs and reviewers are usually full of it. I figured it would still be a solid and reliable beast but this thing IS NOT EVEN AS TOUCH RELIABLE AS AN IPAD OR EVEN YOUR SMART PHONE AND THEIR IS NO TECH ASSISTANCE YOU WILL GET FOR THIS FROM ACER. I am super impressed with this ConceptD 3 ezel laptop. I am NOT a fan of the company Apple and I refuse to use their products. For those people out there that think you cant find quality outside of Apple I say please check this laptop out! Its so well made, very sturdy. The white scuff free surface is hard, durable and looks amazing. Its super sleek and stylish. Set up was super fast and easy. Especially with Cortana. I absolutely love how bright and unaltered the colors appear on the screen. This comes equipped with app explorer. You can get third party apps. I really like the buttons for color, space, and sound. Im not an artist, which is this laptops selling point. I am however an amateur (at least four now) photographer. This laptop is perfect for it. This laptop has plenty of memory. Which is something we almost all look for in a laptop. One of my absolute favorite aspects of this laptop is how the screen rotates for your convenience (as seen in one of my photos). I really enjoy the convenience of a light up keyboard. Great for working in dark rooms. The screen is made of gorilla glass. Which is quite strong, thick and being a touch screen your fingers leave practically no fingerprints behind. It can get hot if used for a long time. Be sure that you have enough airflow beneath it. Loving photography Im really happy that it comes equipped with Adobe Photo Shop.

I bought this as a replacement for a budget Acer laptop, specifically needing more processing power and ram but what drew me in was the capability for inputting cell values into spreadsheets on the go.

Honestly ConceptD 3 is one amazing laptop that works great for many things that is hard to believe all you can do with all the features it has. I taking the max of this laptop for work and entertainment. I work in a health company and every week we have virtual reunion and with the AES pen and the screen turning it to the back I can show the graphics and target goal of the months. So amazing having a laptop with gorilla glass love it. For gaming I been using it with x b ox game pass and is great, no problem playing games and no Lag and does not consume the battery fast like other laptop I used. Its a bit thick but with all the speck that this laptop has it needs to be like this to avoid overheating and bad functions. If your a person that is looking for a laptop for not only working and like to play or see movie I highly recommend this laptop, You will not regret.

I was hoping more from conceptd 3 ezel laptop there is nothing bad with the laptop but is not what they are selling us for example the stylus is not worth because is not a EMR stylus is like drawing with a potato EAS is not good enough is a better option to choose a different laptop or a classic 2 in 1 laptop or inclusive the conceptd 7 ezel

Great laptop overall. The ezel hinge is absolutely wonderful. I wish it was 4K like the ezel 7, but at 14 screen size, full HD is more than sufficient. The only complaint I have is the in-built pen, and more accurately the pen technology being AES. Because of this technology, the pen isnt what it should be on a laptop aimed at artists, architects, and the like. It jitters if drawn slow, or even relatively moderate speed, but of course, it straightens out the faster you draw across the screen. As for the hand holding experience of the pen, since it is so tiny and slim, it can be uncomfortable if used for extended periods. Buying another pen such as the Lenovo Active Pen 2, Bamboo Ink II, or even the surface pen will give a more comfortable hand holding experience. However, this wont mitigate the line jitter, since thats an issue that cant be solved by the pen alone. Still, overall great laptop, but, if you are absolutely serious about artwork at a professional level and need those straight lines at all levels, get the concept 7 over the concept 3. However, for anyone else, artists whose arent doing it professionally, or even students, the conceptD 3 is excellent.
