My son saved up for months to buy this computer. He was so excited when he finally had enough money! When it arrived, he plugged it in, eager to start gaming on his new laptop. Unfortunately, it never charged and it never turned out. So, we got a replacement. He was frustrated but willing to wait. The new one came quickly. However, the replacement had the exact same problem; it wouldnt turn on or charge. Now I have one very sad teenager on my hands and he is afraid to buy another laptop for fear of this happening again. Were not buying another Acer gaming laptop again.

This product generally just works well. It has a good build quality and all parts work well (The reviewers who wrote about bad charging ports didn’t read the instructions). I use this laptop for gaming and for CAD. I do all kinds of resource intensive things and I have yet to find something this laptop can’t do. Moreover, it is super easy to tear down and upgrade; I’ve upgraded the memory twice, adding an SSD into the open 2.5 inch SATA slot and another one into the open, second M.2 slot. There’s also an open spot for more ram when I get there. Everything is so easy to swap out, upgrade, and repair. Lastly, the screen has spoiled me and now all of my old, cheap monitors look awful and slow compared to this screen. Lovely little machine. Only grievance is a considerably short battery life of less than two hours, but if you plug it in, it performs amazingly. I have needed to get a cooling pad to run higher intensity programs though. All in, it’s a great machine for an even better price.

This computer can handle everything you throw at it, I got the RTX 3050 version for 800+, but I highly recommend that you upgrade the devices RAM, to get the best out of the Graphics Card. I will be doing that very soon, myself. You can also upgrade the SSD with two of them including a hard drive as well, I highly recommend you guys buy this computer it is totally worth it, if you are interested in serious gaming.

The laptop had been delivered to and when I tried to turn it on after plugging it up. It didnt show a amber light or when press the power button it was still unresponsive. Crazy thing about this product is that will have a fifty-fifty chance of being delivered dead or working. Not worth the money on playing a game of chance.

Got this machine for my kids for general use and gaming. There were a few negative Amazon reviews which I wanted to add some perspective to - in case it helps someone.

Me and my husband decided to get this laptop as he needed a more powerful PC for his old Macbook used for web development and programming and I wanted to have something that we could use to game with on the go. None of us have bought a new laptop in many many years, let alone a gaming laptop vs a business oriented laptop or budget/lightweight laptop. This seemed like a great compromise between new tech/hardware, easily upgradable in terms of ram, and something that wasn’t super super flashy or expensive. We’ve never had a PC with some of this hardware on it but we both were familiar with it in any case. We both spent the last two months with it to get an idea of the feel for this laptop in different use cases and so on.

Definitely a great upgrade from the dinosaur Ive kept alive for over 8 years. Ill admit I worry at times if the screen top half will snap at the base like the last one did or if the screen will fitz out from picking it up sometimes (its managed to shut itself down & restart just carrying it on my forearm to the kitchen while I voice-chatted with friends a couple of times), but I definitely recommend this laptop for its reliable speed & space compared to older models.

I saved up for this laptop for a long time, and I received it broken, it will not charge no matter what I try. Ive read other comments like this and Im extremely disappointed in the similar reviews. Ive returned it and Im waiting for a refund.
