This performs far better than I thought it would at this price. Perfect size for me, slight curve adds depth to high graphic video games. Has no problem running No Mans Sky on Ultra graphics mode. No slowness or refresh rate slowing. The only way you are getting a better performing monitor than this is by increasing the price 5-10 times.

I got this for my son for his birthday. He really likes it compared to his old monitor and the curve of the screen is just right. No dead pixels and the box arrived in good shape. Its been set up for a few days now. He says he can tell a big difference between this one and the old monitor which had a slower refresh rate. Ill revise my review if anything goes wrong but so far everything is great and he (and I ) are very happy with it!

This monitor works great for my home office needs. The design is clean and sleek and doesnt take up much real estate on my desk. The speakers work fine, but dont expect a Bowers & Wilkins audio experience. Even set at its loudest setting, the volume is very low. However, since I dont stream video or music on this computer, its fine. But, I wish it were louder so that I could hear my Skype phone ring from another room. I took away one star for the monitor sound quality. Overall, its a pretty nice monitor for the price.

Im a software architect and my needs for ergonomic equipment, great displays, and capable PCs (MacBookPro) are significant. I had an Asus IPS 1440p previously which was a great monitor. But I stopped into a Staples store and saw a curved monitor (1500R) and was hooked. I cant describe the transformation that you undergo in how you interact with the display. Yes, the experience is more immersive. I was looking at 1000R or 1500R and felt that 1500R, like this monitor, was a good balance for non-gaming situations. It took about 3-4 days to get used to. And interestingly it felt better to use for personal browsing before I grokked the benefits for technical work. Yes, a VA (vertically aligned) panel is just slightly not as vibrant or oomph factor as IPS. But you can adjust the monitor very nicely and get very close to IPS. This monitor is a great value and there is not much to be concerned about. Id say the only thing that may through you is the base legs. All curved monitors have legs that come out and forward to balance monitor so it does not fall forward. So this may bring some rearrangements for you on your desktop. You will need an area of 16 wide, 9 deep, and 4-6 height to bring the monitor up to a very usable eye level, assuming a standard desk height. I got mine at $159.99 in early June 2023 and it has reenergized my work and productivity. Recommended.

Pros- Great monitor with a fast refresh rate that has minimal ghosting on regular settings*(Later) Very strong metal stand Super accurate colors compared to my old TN panel The curve feels amazing on the eyes after a small adjustment. I cannot go back to a flat monitor. Has the ability to be SUPER bright. I personally keep mine at only 20%, but holy moly it can get bright Free Sync is absolutely beautiful, i love it so much. Very easy to assemble out of box, and comes with a displayport cable! CONS- EXTREME Ghosting on all settings above (off) in overdrive in the panel settings Sometimes a little too bright in my opinion. Even on minimum, it is pretty bright for nighttime. OTHERS(Not really monitors fault) No vesa mount. I didnt buy it expecting one, but itd be nice considering the competitor has one. I have to run it at 120hz. To explain, When you have a 60hz secondary monitor, you need to have both displays at a multiple of 60hz otherwise there is stuttering on the faster one. When this monitor is at 144hz and a video of any kind runs on my secondary, there is extreme stuttering. Fixed by custom setting this one to 120hz though, works beautifully.

great gaming performance no noticeable ghosting. But colors are not great, so not that good for watching movies on. other than that its great good price, like that its curved small difference but noticeable

You can tell it was cheaply made but it does look great and is 144hz

The monitor works great, Ive seen a lot of people that needed to adjust settings, but mine looked great right from the start. Unfortunately mine had dead pixels right out of the box. I called Amazon for a return and was offered a partial refund instead of contacting the seller, which I accepted. The only other con is the power button, its very hard to maneuver and turning the monitor off is a nightmare, but its a pretty minor problem for the price you pay.

Acer"s Nitro ED240Q 23.6" 1500R curved panel monitor with Full HD resolution delivers the incredible. Crisp, true-to-life colors come alive with the amazing 1920 x 1080 resolution, allowing you to enjoy High-Definition entertainment in the comfort of your home.Through AMD FreeSync Premium technology, the game’s frame rate is determined by your graphics card, not the fixed refresh rate of the monitor, giving you a serious competitive edge. Smooth, tear-free gameplay And a whole lot more. (UM.UE0AA.S01).
