Bought it to start WFH. works fine. There are times when my desktop background blacks out (my display driver is probably crashing?) Quick fix is to close all my open windows and restart. Doesnt happen so often if I shut off the monitor when Im not using it, shut off the computer completely when Im not using it. I think this is more a problem of my computer and its power/display than of the monitor.

Overall, the monitor is a great product. I love the curved screen and it helps me focus when Im gaming or working. However, one major problem that has come up is black screens. Randomly, the screen will turn off while I am using it. Im not sure if it is my cables but please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this problem (if anyone else has this problem as well).

No regrets. The monitor is awesome. Gaming is silly smooth and the curve looks pretty good. Its hard to notice but still nice. The design is basic but looks good. It comes with a display prot cable which was awesome for me. The only complaint is that I still am not sure about color accuracy. Ill have to look into settings more but I feel like it isnt perfect.

For the price you cant complain and the curve is a bonus. Only reason why i dont give a 4 is the monitor has a weird black edge at some viewing angles but its not too bad just my personal taste on that

Could not be beat for the price of $179 that I paid for it considering the 144hz refresh rate and VA panel. The one major drawback was the complete lack of factory color calibration. Even fine tuned, the picture showed extremely varied color accuracy. To demonstrate I have compared this monitor on the left with a color calibrated IPS display on the right. The difference is quite noticeable. Upside: Refresh rate and Freesync work fantastic Downside: Fairly poor color accuracy

I want to start by saying this is an amazing monitor. Or at least for the price and to me. Zero defects (no dead pixels, no bleed, no cosmetic issues, etc), very smooth, and Im very surprised by the display. Solid color for VA panel. The issue I have was the delivery. For some dumb reason, Amazon didnt specify that it needed to be delivered to the door or whatever it is they do. Because this is the only package Ive ever received where the delivery guy decided OH THIS IS TOO BIG FOR THE MAILBOX. I GUESS I WONT DELIVER IT. WHAT?! EVEN IF IT DID FIT... DONT PUT A FRIGGIN COMPUTER MONITOR IN A MAILBOX IN (extra caps->) ARIZONA! Amazon should have taken the steps to ship it properly. Took longer than it needed to to receive the product. Im upset with Amazon, but certainly not Acer.

Im a software architect and my needs for ergonomic equipment, great displays, and capable PCs (MacBookPro) are significant. I had an Asus IPS 1440p previously which was a great monitor. But I stopped into a Staples store and saw a curved monitor (1500R) and was hooked. I cant describe the transformation that you undergo in how you interact with the display. Yes, the experience is more immersive. I was looking at 1000R or 1500R and felt that 1500R, like this monitor, was a good balance for non-gaming situations. It took about 3-4 days to get used to. And interestingly it felt better to use for personal browsing before I grokked the benefits for technical work. Yes, a VA (vertically aligned) panel is just slightly not as vibrant or oomph factor as IPS. But you can adjust the monitor very nicely and get very close to IPS. This monitor is a great value and there is not much to be concerned about. Id say the only thing that may through you is the base legs. All curved monitors have legs that come out and forward to balance monitor so it does not fall forward. So this may bring some rearrangements for you on your desktop. You will need an area of 16 wide, 9 deep, and 4-6 height to bring the monitor up to a very usable eye level, assuming a standard desk height. I got mine at $159.99 in early June 2023 and it has reenergized my work and productivity. Recommended.

Plays well. Clear picture and screen is bright. Adapts to the surrounding brightness as well. I got the 144Hz version and theres a huge different in the playback when Im gaming.
