Pros - awesome performance, awesome size, awesome brightness (a little TOO awesome), awesome features Cons - colors are a bit weird to look at (at first) had to adjust settings for a few days to get used to it does NOT come with an HDMI or displayport cable (just the power supply one) a bit slow to display things when changing settings[ i.e. alt-tabbing] (could just be a me problem) conclusion - still worth it, gimme those sweet sweet frames, baby!

The HDR is pretty cool. Color is a little bit off but thats not my main reason for the low rating. No matter what I do, I notice a lot of ghosting. Wouldnt recommend because this can get in the way of lots of movement based games.

bought it, set it up, liked it for about 5mins until i decided to watch some anime and noticed that the screen was unfocused almost like it wasnt refreshing fast enough, so i checked setting on my pc and the monitor turns out it isnt 144hrtz so dont waste your money on this product, also for anyone wondering the ACTUAL HERTZ FOR THIS PRODUCT IS 70.00 HERTZ, If you were buying this in hopes to use as an actual gaming monitor like i did DONT it aint worth it. I can promise youll be dis-satisfied. (P.S , the seller better hope the wrong person doesnt red flag them for FALSE information, I know i should but, Ill be nice.)

So i got this product delivered on Monday April 2nd And when i opened it and set the stand up, I tried hooking my xbox to the hmdi inport on the moniter, and there was no signal at all and all i was left with was flashing colors. For your information my xbox does not have a problem because i have tried hooking my xbox to another moniter, back to the big main point i called acer up and tried their trouble shooting and nothing worked they told me i had 3 years of warranty and could get it inspected by a professional i am not gonna go through that sturggle by shipping it and packaging and waiting a long time so I returned it, the overall thing is to never by moniters of off amazon because it could be broken or damaged, I ended up buying acers 27 inch moniter it worked perfectly so yea dont order moniters online.

Onboard Monitor Menu: Yes it is accessible by a joystick, plus you have 3 buttons to help you select different categories or customizable modes. Frame and Edges: 0.5 inches from the edge we start to see the screen. This means that 1 inch would separate two of these monitors side-by-side. This is fairly decent for a dual setup, I would personally invest in a 2k/4k monitor setup to bundle with this monitor. Viewing Angles: This monitor truly has very sharp and stunning viewing angles, furthermore it is perfect for doing editing on a budget. Brightness or Luminance: Extremely bright in fact, it is crazy bright. I have mine running on 0% brightness with night mode enable and it is still bright. I would have to tweak the settings outside of the brightness to dim the light on this monitor. This is an LCD LED backlight panel. Response Rate: HDMI 2.0 and a display cable out of the box that supports up to 165hz. I have not experienced any form of ghosting, I do not have a GPU so I am currently running a Ryzen 2200g APU. I have played Apex Legends, COD War Zone, and League of Legends. I am unable to test other games as I am without the RTX 3080 at this time. Adjustability: The monitor is able to tilt up or down. You would need a mounting stand to support the landscape view. This desktop mount is very sturdy. Display: Full 1080p FHD LCD LED Backlight Screen. This monitor arrived in a thick Styrofoam package. 100% free of dead pixels, I could not believe it myself 0 dead pixels. I have friends who bought pricey monitors that came with dead pixels. Surprisingly I have none of those issues. I did however noticed minor IPS glow. I would say very small amounts as it is almost not noticeable until the screen is pitch black and you have to stare in the left corner to see it. Comfortable on the eyes and suitable for gaming for extended periods. Monitor Size: 27-inch monitors range between 24-25 wide and 14-18 tall depending on how they measure the height. This monitor checks out as a 27-inch monitor based on my measurement check. Monitor Appearance (Build Quality): Black color finish with red accents at the stand, barely noticeable. Blue lit indicator when the monitor is on and dark orange when the monitor is off. I feel that ACER could have included some red glow backlight on the back, or a fancy imprint on the plastic to make it fancy. Speakers: Very good if you want to watch YouTube or listen to calm music while working/studying. I would not recommend them for your daily driver but they are nice to have. They are not so loud about 93 Decibels between the two of them. Contrast Ratio: Dark blacks satisfactory but could have been better. It is an IPS monitor which helps to deliver quality images. I have not yet adjusted the contrast because I am happy with the way it is. Bezels: Extremely narrow and handly noticeable unless you use some stretchy wallpaper. Stuck pixels nope 0%. 8 Months of Use Update: (Still I am unable to buy a 6900xt or an RTX 3080 at this point, I am thinking of getting a PS5 for this monitor until then) HDMI cable is rather unstable after 8 months, as a true chad I found out that watching some videos from some sites affected the image delivered to the display. It would need me to plug it out an in again, strangely this was not the monitor going bad it was just that the HDMI was not of that good aftermarket quality. Brightness - The nits on this thing is insane, very bright for some reason but I like it. I would give this Monitor a 9/10 for 1080p gaming.

Looks really nice. Black exterior looks good with the red stand. The screen itself is a good size had no issues. Bought a second one, since it works as intended.

Overall a good monitor and runs well out of the box. Just wish it had built in speakers.

I bought this to use for my Xbox FPS games (primarily PUBG) since I was playing on a 42 TV. The 1ms response 144hz makes a difference. I can see distance much better and the picture is much clearer. Also less screen blur and a clearer transitions when going from target to target. ADS is smoother as well. Just overall smoothness. Character seems to do what I want at the same time Im pressing the button instead of just a slight out of sync feel. I also have this as a dual monitor to my iMac. Bought a $10 cable from Amazon to connect and everything worked out well. Monitor has numerous settings to adjust to your level of brightness, sharpness, rendering, etc. I dont understand it all but Ive tweaked a few things for me and it appears to be working well. Also has a gaming setting where you can optionally include a permanent crosshair to the center of the screen. Might work well on some games but it doesnt line up correctly for PUBG so its a no go. Has 2 HDMI ports and a DP. Comes with a 3 HDMI cable and power cord. Has mount points if you want to mount and comes with a easy to assemble stand. Only thing I wish it had was 4k but that would make it too expensive and I really dont need it. Still a HD monitor.
