Greater than one weekWorked great for about a month. Then dead pixels. When I contacted Acer support they told me if it isnt a minimum of 5 dead pixels then too bad. Dont bother with this monitor or company. Total scam artists.

> 3 dayWas looking for a 4k monitor with 144hz refresh rate. Works pretty good, though brightness could have been better.

> 3 dayI bought 3 of these monitors for a tripple screen setup. A year and a half later this is my most regrettable pc related purchase of all time. Let me be clear for me most of the time these dont flicker, but anytime you display something dark(like a lo of websites these days) or anything stationary with a black or dark background there is a good chance you will experience either the notorious flicker or the notorious flicker + burn in/ short to medium term image retention. Everyone says the fix is to turn off the black boost feature in the on screen menu but I can also 100% confirm that if you want to take advantage of HDR on these monitors you loose the option to toggle this option or adjust it. For the money buy a different 240hz HDR IPS monitor and avoid the potential headaches that come with long term ownership. Unfortunately Im stuck with 3 of these things, all three of them have the same issues and reproduce them consistently in the same conditions and I wish i just waited for alienware or any other company to make a 240Hz IPS.

> 3 dayI use this for Xbox series X to get 4k@120hz with the HDMI 2.1 ports. I was then pleasantly surprised by the other features. I also use this for work and now with DP ALT support, I run my laptop with a SINGLE USB C connection to this monitor. The monitor supports PD (power delivery, so I do not even use the laptops power brick any more) over this USB C and supports DP for video. It cleaned up my desk by removing a bunch of unnecessarily cables. On top of that, it has a built in KVM switch where you can use all 4 USB ports on the monitor and share those accessories with two devices. As an example my keyboard and mouse connect to my monitor but I can use them with my laptop over the USB C port, and use them with my Xbox with an included USB adapter. I do not game with keyboard and mouse but the functionality is still pretty neat.

> 3 dayLuckily got this while it was 50% off and it was definitely worth it. Likely wouldve chosen something else if it had been full price though. A bit of light bleed because of the IPS but unless you are playing or watching something very dark, you wont notice. You definitely need to have it in HDR mode however or else the colours are very bland and washed out

> 3 dayBut it came dead on arrival. No lights when powered into an outlet, and the only option is a refund, cant get it replaced. Bummer. Off to a different brand I guess.

20-11-2024The only issues I had were related to auto HDR, its best to just leave hdr on, but that issue may be tied to the xbox series x specifically.

Greater than one weekI bought this on Acer website and have been severely disappointed with what Ive gotten. First of the quality of build isnt there. Nice to have all the connectors but plugins are in weird places, and the frame is made out of cheap plastic that looks like they were cutting corners. Initial setup was not intuitive at all. Graphics were horrible and colors looked washed down. Customer service said thats just the way it is. Eventually figured out how to get the settings right and Ill give it - when it works it looks pretty good. However, every now and then when I try to turn on my computer doesnt register this as a 4k monitor. Ive tried a lot of different methods but the only thing that works is unplugging, factory resetting then replugging the monitor. At this price point its simply unacceptable that they didnt work out the bugs with this thing, and offer the terrible customer service/warranty that they do. I would advise you steer clear of this monitor, and look at the Gigabyte M28 or wait off until theres better 4k monitors on the market, because I feel like I got scammed with this.
