16-11-2024Awful monitor, awful company. Bought this from ACER and they absolutely screwed me. Broke within a year and they wont replace it. I sent it in for repairs with the same ghosting/ image retention issues other people are having and they said they couldnt replicate the issue and just sent it back to me without asking how to replicate the issue. Dont buy this.

> 3 dayI have owned this monitor about eight months now. Longer than I should have. I really want to like this monitor and have tried everything to make it work the way I want, new cables, backlighting, settings, etc. No matter what Ive done, the eyestrain is unbearable. I dont see a lot of reviews discussing this so am unable to discuss much more than what Ive tried. There are no new drivers, Ive set the custom mode brightness down to 5 and various other settings and I still cannot use it more than 20 minutes without going back to my old monitor for real work.

Greater than one weekI normally dont write reviews, but for this item it would be a disservice not to share my experience. I am no Linus from Linus Tech Tips, but I will try to give you the perspective as a competitive gamer.

> 3 dayThese are sleeper monitors. Great for gaming and other tasks. AMD freesync if that matters. I dont care about it though. I am running triple monitors on a 2080ti and everything is flawless. Ignore my cable management... Im not done yet...

> 3 dayI use this for Xbox series X to get 4k@120hz with the HDMI 2.1 ports. I was then pleasantly surprised by the other features. I also use this for work and now with DP ALT support, I run my laptop with a SINGLE USB C connection to this monitor. The monitor supports PD (power delivery, so I do not even use the laptops power brick any more) over this USB C and supports DP for video. It cleaned up my desk by removing a bunch of unnecessarily cables. On top of that, it has a built in KVM switch where you can use all 4 USB ports on the monitor and share those accessories with two devices. As an example my keyboard and mouse connect to my monitor but I can use them with my laptop over the USB C port, and use them with my Xbox with an included USB adapter. I do not game with keyboard and mouse but the functionality is still pretty neat.

> 3 dayWas looking for a 4k monitor with 144hz refresh rate. Works pretty good, though brightness could have been better.
