I found a few laptops over the my gaming career and theyve all fallen short, Im a PC gamer but desktop all the way. When my desktop died and I started traveling a lot for work I needed something portable so I did a lot of research and settled on this one.

Great for pretty much anything you could want to do. Windows 11 capable and Acer is the best brand out there. I had other predator models as well and there isnt a brand out there that can deliver like acer can.

Well for starters this device is great , well except for thermal performence . When im gaming this laptop run over 90c . So at this level of heat it is very uncomfortable (painful) to touch the upper part of the laptop . And mostly the cpu is the one gives you most troubles with heat. So only solution so far i found was to use throttlestop software to turn off turbo boost of the cpu and then the laptop runs even the hardcore games at around 70c. But im pretty bummed about that because as you can see one of the most famous marketing point about this laptop is its so called 4th gen aero blade fans . And even when i turn on the max fan mode it doesnt reduce much heat when gaming (or heavy work). Mostly you can expect is one or two degrees of temperature difference.

I originally bought this in April for the dual purpose of work from home and playing video games. It runs most modern games decently well, which you would expect given the staggering price tag, but you had definitely pray that nothing goes wrong with your machine because Acer support absolutely 100% does not have your back.

The sound when you turn it ON can not be muted.

What can I say, i7 10th Gen, RTX 3060, 144hz screen. Its a great feat for this price.

My Laptop is okay the ONLY issue I am experiencing is Serious Overheating issues to the point where the Laptop shuts off/ restarts on its own. I live in Jamaica we are a Tropical Country and I feel like I have wasted my mom. A lot of times Im on a Zoom Call and it freezes on me even as the presentor of the zoom call.

Fresh out of box, battery wont hold charge. If power cord is disconnected, laptop dies. Seeking a battery replacement to be shipped....still havent had a chance to contact customer service, due to my job.
