Overall impression its a great mid range laptop for the money. Highly recommend that you upgrade to 32G of ram first and foremost. Secondly I added a 2tb Samsung SSD along with another 2TB Samsung M.2 Drive. Laptop has connectors for the additional ssd slot along with one open m.2 slot. The laptop comes with 16g ( 2 x 8 ) so I ended up buying 2 x 16 crucial 3200 for a easy going price. Great PC, make sure you get yourself a cooling pad and you wont need to worry. Great build, CPU GPU.

I am very surprised by the quality of this laptop. It is the best sub 2000$ laptop I have ever owned by far. The sound is actually pretty decent. The NVME is a SAMSUNG_MZVL25123 which is a PCIE Gen 4 drive that I was getting about 4.5Gbps read speed (25 percent faster than my Samsung EVO 970). The motherboard (in my model) is a TGL QX60_TLS and the RAM is Kingston DDR 4 PC3200. The Video Card vendor name is Hynix and it does include 6 GBytes of ram with a 192 bit bus. The display is 144 Mhz as described and it gets bright. The IPS back-panel does show some bleed-through but you can only really tell when you shut the laptop down and start it up. It also has a second NVMe slot (on the other side of the laptop) and has the insulator pre-installed on the bottom of the top panel. The keyboard is a little better than adequate but not better enough to call it good. Key travel is short and does not give a very satisfying feed-back.

Everything of the laptop almost look perfect to me except a hardware defective. So the issue I had with my laptop is when I plugged in my headphone into the jack, the left side is always not working (apple headphone has no sound while Acrux just has buzzing sound and both headphones work fine on my other laptop) while bluetooth mode fully works. After several hours of research and talking to multiple Acer technician on chat and on phone, we went through several debugging processes like reinstalling the audio drive, checking the balance setting and other properties of headphone, resetting the power and so on. And the final conclusion is there is hardware issue and I need to send the laptop to their repair center (shipping fee is covered, but I have to buy packing materials myself and meanwhile this process might take like 10 days). Though this is not a big hardware defect, it is super inconvenient that I cant use my wired headphone on it.
