Screen has a lot of bleed at the corners. After about 6 months many of my games began to over heat the cpu after an hour and a hslf of play. I cannot even play Alpha Protocol on high game setting. GPU seems cool and the air coming out is cool, but whete vpu is at there is no air flow. Otherwise its an alright computer..

You know Acer is speaking to you when you open the box, lift the heavy power brick, and see (because its bigger) that they are using a standard computer power cable instead of the usual brick cable (a plus, because you can misplace the cable!), but then you see a small package of screws. Why? So you can upgrade the SSD (this model shipped with 512GB) if you want.

This gaming laptop offers a great gaming experience for a amazingly affordable price. With all the tech packed into this beauty, Im surprised it didnt cost hundreds more. Used with a 144Hz 27 HD monitor, it really shines and provides a much better gaming experience than my Xbox ever did. I dont know about battery life since I have only used it plugged into the power supply so far. Still surprised I got such a powerful gaming laptop for such a relatively low price!

I had read that this machine ran hot so I bought a fan pad with 4 fans and never used it without the pad. It did get very hot and I started seeing some glitches in the video when playing games. I never overclocked it, but right after the 2 year mark, I got blue screens where it was stuck in permanent repair mode and I would get pixelated static bands across the screen. Sine the video is integrated, there is no replacing the video card, so now its a paperweight.

This is a great little laptop with lots of power for the price. Gen 11 i7, an RTX 3060, Thunderport 4, and a very bright 144 Hz display. But there are plenty of reviews that will list out all the wonderful specs. Here are my only complaints. I do have some light bleed around the top and bottom edges of the screen which is disappointing. It is hard to find the battery specs on this laptop but I think it is something like 59 MAH. You you pack this much horse power in a chasey I wish it contained a max 99 MAH battery. There is an extra 2.5 drive bay next to the battery, it would be awesome to offer a bigger battery option at the sacrifice of the drive bay. Lastly, a MUX switch would have been great. I understand this would add to the cost but I would pay extra for those options and a MUX switch it relatively cheap to build into a laptop. Other than that, I researched close to 30 laptops before settling on this one and it did not disappoint.

I researched for hours and came up with this Acer Predator Helios. Worked right out of the box. Note - my edition had two 8 GB memory sticks, and I bought two more 16 GBs to replace it and go all the way. I also bought a 1 TB hard drive to finish the job.

This is my first gaming laptop n so far I am enjoying it. It does get a little loud but it’s alright with me. It runs games pretty smooth. For the battery life I usually keep it plug in when I’m gaming. I would recommend this to a friend who wanted to do some laptop gaming.

El producto está muy bien, pero tiene un problema con la pantalla, tiene manchas a los costados como nubes que son más visibles en lo oscuro.
