Good for work, hard to install

I took a chance on this as an emergency replacement for a receipt printer that gave out after 7 or 8 years of heavy use. They sent a copy of the driver on a CD but it was not the correct one for this model. I went online and the links to the driver for this model actually downloaded drivers to a different model. I tried to see if it would work since both CD and website had this driver, but after half a day of fighting with it, I had enough and returned it. I bought the newer model of the printer that died and it installed without any issues.

Perfect for small business it’s very nice

The printer itself looked solid. But installation and use of this printer is next to impossible. They provide you with a CD to install the driver. Nowadays not one laptop comes with cd drive. So I had to turn to the internet to find the driver. They mention the site to go to to install the driver and guess what. The button that actually downloads the driver doesnt work. I also tried to go to their site (which is all in Chinese) to find another place where I can find the driver but it was no where to be found. I also tried troubleshooting the printer to see if I can install using the USB setting and that doesnt work either. Please save yourself some time and money and dont invest in this product. Im expressing my genuine frustration about this product. I wish they could just provide a link to install the driver here itself and make the dang button to install the driver work!
