> 24 hourI was skeptical about these, but two trusted friends (who don’t know each other) both recommended them so I gave it a try. Working from home has been tricky, I needed something that still lets me hear my background, won’t give me a weird hair crease like regular headphones do, and a battery that lasts through the workday. These totally did the trick! They go behind my head along the neckline, under my hair, and because they send sound thru the bone, it’s not plugging my ears at all so I can hear what’s going on around me. And the battery life on these lasts about 7-8 hours straight! They can sync to my computer or my phone, anything with Bluetooth. If you’re thinking of trying these, you won’t be disappointed. Literally the only thing I can complain about is that you cannot use them while it’s charging. But they charge fast, so not really an issue.

> 24 hourAdventure approved! Super lightweigh.. I forgot Im even wearing these. Great for phone calls too. The battery lasts a very long time. These are not meant to be used for noise cancellation without the use of the ear plugs. I absolutely looooove these. Theyre a real game changer for my hiking and backpacking adventures. I can listen to podcasts and music and still am able to hear things around me. If I could give these 100 stars I would.

> 24 hourUpdate May 14, 2021 I have had these since February 14. I use them while exercising and sweating heavily - and these are very sweat resistant, unlike the AfterShokz Air. These are GREAT! These are also perfect for the office and home office. They pair with both my smart phone and Windows laptop seamlessly. These have long battery life - all day, and quick charging. February 14, 2021 I just bought AfterShokz Aeropex bone conduction headphones from Amazon and tried them out today. I am REALLY impressed. They are light-weight and the best sounding bone conduction headphones Ive had. Bone conduction headphones are not for everyone. I love them because the ear pieces fit right in front of the ear on the cheekbone - keeping the ear opening free and so I can hear my environment. They dont sound as good as conventional headphones, especially for music. However, for podcasts and phone conversations, they are great. And a HUGE BOBUS - the Aeropex Bluetooth connects to two devices. So I have my Aeropex connected to both my cell and my laptop. Its great for Zoom/Team conferences on my laptop, phone calls on my cell, cell podcasts - without having to disconnect and reconnect my Bluetooth. Previously I had AfterShokz Air bone conduction headphones and really liked them, but they died from sweat from my workouts - I even replaced them (under warranty) twice, but sweat was a killer. The Aeropex is rated better for water resistance (and sound better). AfterShokz Aeropex is a little pricey. It comes with a two year warranty - which during the two year period I will be testing the sweat-proof features of it.

> 24 hour12/10 stars! Let’s just put it this way; the packaging? Immaculate! The style and comfort of these things? Immaculate!! The battery life? Immaculate!!! I wear these all day everyday. While I’m at work, shopping, doing laundry or cooking dinner. They’re hardly noticeable to others and they’re extremely comfortable. In short...Immaculate!!!!!!

> 24 hourBone conducting sounds very exotic but its a little more usual than you might think. To get an idea: Grab a pair of decent on-ear headphones, place them on your temples so your ears are uncovered, and turn up the volume a bit. This is pretty much what Aftershokz sound and feels like. It makes you realize there is a bone conducting component to regular headphones. Similarly, there is still an aural component to these - if you have them sitting on a desk or hanging up, you can still hear them audibly over the air. For the price youre paying, youre getting a new usage experience rather than sound quality. Here are some examples: * Actual wet performance. Lots of headphones now have some kind of IPxx rating. While they arent damaged by water, that doesnt mean they *work* when wet. These do. You can listen to audio while dunking your head under the shower. Maybe thats not something youre going to do, but it means rain and sweat wont drown it out. Thats something Ive had happen plenty. * Isolation when you want it. ANC and a good seal are fine but they dont beat wearing actual earplugs IMO. I can put in some earplugs and still listen to a podcast while vacuuming my car or something - and I dont have to crank the volume. I think thats impressive. Still, some people cant do earplugs - OK, ANC is better for you. * Awareness when you want it. Things that need your attention can get it. That doesnt mean you can understand everything you hear. The effect is like having two people talk directly to you at the same time - hard to understand even one of them, and usually the loudest speaker wins. But youre aware at least. Those differences were pros in my opinion. Other pros: Long battery life, great power connector. Pretty good fit (for me - wife disagrees) as the device is small and stays firmly on my head. Also a pretty good mic set up - nobody has complained when Ive used these, unlike my other wireless headphones. Still, for best quality, wired is still the way to go. Cons are not insignificant: * Less audio quality for the money, to be sure. If you want audiophile equipment, move along. These cant provide it. If you just listen to podcasts and place phone calls, I think its A-OK. Also pretty good for providing background music while working. Admittedly, though Im not a music person, this is a little hard to get past. * Personally I hate the controls. On/off, volume, and pause are fine. Beyond that, Im struggling. My cheap plantronics phones are better here. * Bluetooth connectivity. I know Bluetooth isnt perfect and Windows 10 BT experience in particular leaves much to be desired. But comparing these to a cheap pair of plantronics phones, I expected more. The cheap pair connects faster, switches devices significantly quicker and both without as much manual intervention. This is personally my greatest point of dissatisfaction, as the Aeropex are five times the price. I really hope this thing can receive firmware updates to improve connection behavior. I gave these a try for 6 weeks and have decided to keep them, despite my reservations. It came down to the fact that, even with the shortcomings, I get a LOT of use out of them. Enough that I dont feel like rolling the dice on another product for now.

> 24 hourI had nothing more convenient for sport and not only sport. I also listen audiobooks relaxing at the pool, use for the calls. For sport it is simply an ideal solution - I am cycling with this and it is really perfect in terms of safety to hear what’s happening around. I didn’t use usual headphones for running and cycling as I don’t feel me comfortable when don’t hear anything around. Only a minus is a bass quality. For me, there is no bass )) I am quite demanding sound quality and bass is disappointing. But it is not very important when you are going sport.

> 24 hourI wanted to have the ability to hear on a bicycle ride or going for a run. I waited for a while to buy, because this is an expensive purchase to only use for working out. I finally pulled the trigger and found they have many other uses for me. Many times I am walking around the house, doing different things. I like to listen to podcasts, and I don’t want to be tethered to one location. With the Aeropex, I can be in the same room with kids, while a different tv program plays, I can still listen to my podcast. I can still hear what the kids are up to and quickly touch the left button if I need to pause. The headset is very light, because of this, I keep it on all day long sometimes, without realizing it. I could never keep earbuds in all day. I wear these into stores, and just pause when I start talking to someone. I’ve also worn these in the shower, although I’m not sure if thats recommended. But they worked just fine. In the gym, or other loud environments, put in earplugs and boom, you have noise cancellation. Usually I run with one earbud in or one side of a headphone on. The Aeropex allows me to hear my surroundings so much better than that method. The only disadvantage I see is that music does not sound as good as earbuds, and if it is turned up really loud, others might be able to hear what you are listening too. I don’t listen to lots of bass heavy music, and certainly not around the house when I am trying to listen for other things. Ill keep a pair of headphones if I really want to zone out, but I wont be picking up earbuds all that much.

> 24 hourI am extremely happy with these headphones. I run long distance, so it’s important my headphones are sturdy, stay where they’re supposed to, and I can hear my music. These do two better by also allowing me to hear any cyclists or other runners coming up and can pair to both my watch and my phone at the same time! These also cure the issue I had with my sweat being streamlined to my ears in my last pair of headphones (that sit in the ear). But because of where these sit (just in front of the ear on the temporal bone) the sweat stays out. Did I say how happy I am?!
