> 3 dayDecent sounding earphones that allow you to hear sounds around you, so they are not a safety hazard. But if you are in a loud environment even if turned to full volume the earphone sound is difficult to make out. Battery life is good, they last me at least one full day and sometimes two. They take a long time to recharge however. The band is a bit too big for my head, sticking out about an inch and a half, and bumps on car head rests and on jackets. The Aeropex sit tight on my head and dont fall off. All in all a very good purchase.

> 3 dayI had a pair of the Aftershokz Titanium for a year and have to say I wasnt impressed with it overall. I decided to give the Aeropex a try, and my gosh what a difference this version makes! First to get a few things out of the way for those new to bone conduction. These headphones do not isolate outside sound - by design - so you wont be able to make out much of your podcast in a noisy subway car. Nor can you expect real bass. Its simple physics. If you boomy bass is what you are after, or you expect to constantly be in a noisy environment, youll be much happier with a $20 pair of earbuds with good sealing tips. You use bone conduction headset to retain full situation awareness of your aural surroundings. Compare to the original Aftershockz, the Aeropex is lighter, much more comfortable to wear, and have appreciably fuller and louder sound. Its completely worth of the $80 extra IMHO. I am also happy with the customer service - I had some issues with the multi-function button with my original pair. I contacted customer support and they sent me a replacement pair within days - no questions asked. There are two issues that prevents me from giving this 5 stars. First is the questionable decision to use a proprietary charging cable - sure the magnetic connection works very well and they are nice to include two cables in the box. But Id have much preferred a standard USB-C connection or Qi-based wireless charging, so I dont need to carry yet another cable when I travel. 2nd is a software issue - when headset makes a loud beep whenever you press a button, and its volume is not adjusted for the volume setting of the headset. So the beeps are startlingly loud when you are listening to some quiet music. Its gotten so annoying that I try not to use the headset to adjust volume at all at night.

> 3 dayI was skeptical about these, but two trusted friends (who don’t know each other) both recommended them so I gave it a try. Working from home has been tricky, I needed something that still lets me hear my background, won’t give me a weird hair crease like regular headphones do, and a battery that lasts through the workday. These totally did the trick! They go behind my head along the neckline, under my hair, and because they send sound thru the bone, it’s not plugging my ears at all so I can hear what’s going on around me. And the battery life on these lasts about 7-8 hours straight! They can sync to my computer or my phone, anything with Bluetooth. If you’re thinking of trying these, you won’t be disappointed. Literally the only thing I can complain about is that you cannot use them while it’s charging. But they charge fast, so not really an issue.

Greater than one weekBest pair of headphones I have ever had. I work in an industry where earplugs are required and these allow me to wear my hearing protection and still be able to listen to my music.

> 3 dayHaving crashed and burned with 2 lesser quality, bone conduction headphones, I finally bit the bullet and bought these (Used/Refurbished? - via Amazon). I believe it was my own sweat and the occasional rain and drizzle that we get here in the Pacific Northwest that doomed the cheaper headphones. These headphones (Aftershokz - Aeropex) have worked flawlessly so far - even in wet conditions. Ive only been using them for 2 months (about 10 runs total), so Ill come back to this review with an update if anything changes. Also, what I learned was, because I sweat a lot when I work out and run in the rain quite a bit, I most likely need at least a level 7 for water resistance. The Aeropex has a rating of IP67 (the second digit (7) represents level of protection against water ingress). Other, cheaper headphones Ive used had a level 5 for protection from water and those never worked out. I believe water was getting in through the charging port (micro USB) of the cheaper pairs, causing them to fail. The Aeropexs magnetic charging connection appears to be completely sealed and much better designed for the elements.

> 3 dayAdventure approved! Super lightweigh.. I forgot Im even wearing these. Great for phone calls too. The battery lasts a very long time. These are not meant to be used for noise cancellation without the use of the ear plugs. I absolutely looooove these. Theyre a real game changer for my hiking and backpacking adventures. I can listen to podcasts and music and still am able to hear things around me. If I could give these 100 stars I would.
