As far as I can tell, this remote is an exact duplicate of the original remote that came with my LG blue-ray player. The replacement is working very well.

It seems to be working a lot better than the original remote that came with my older model LG dvd/blue ray player!! I scrolled through lots of similar remotes before selecting this one. It seems to be the correct replacement remote for my model of dvd/blue ray player & it works!! I suggest reading everything & comparing all of the models & serial numbers to your individual dvd/blue ray players or to any device you want replacement parts for before you buy things anywhere on Amazon. So far so good & Im able to use the enter button on this remote which was the broken part on my orginal remote! It does have an extra row of buttons at the bottom of it when I compared to my orginal remote, but Im not tech savvy & those dont mean anything to me currently since its doing what I wanted it to do! It came pre-set up and ready to go with my model of LG dvd/blue ray player, so I definitely appreciate that! All I had to do was add 2 batteries! It takes 2 AAA batteries!

Worked just fine with my $10 Craigslist Bluray player.

It allows me to use a 2nd hand DVD player - total cost with DVD $15! Only drawback, it needs line-of-site to the DVD player.
