Perfect replacement for my remote. Many crucial functions for my DVD player must be operated from the remote. After the battery compartment in the original remote was damaged I was certain I would have to buy another DVD player. Certainly theyre reasonably priced these days. I was hesitant to purchase a universal remote because theyre not always fully compatible. I gave it a try and Im so glad I did.

It allows me to use a 2nd hand DVD player - total cost with DVD $15! Only drawback, it needs line-of-site to the DVD player.

Very much compatible with my DVD player. Just make sure the brand and manufacturing numbers match up with the remote.
