Greater than one weekGreat for recordings, very clear sound. No base, so not for you if its purely for listening to music.

> 3 dayThese are phenomenal. They fit very snug though, fine with me but I can feel my ears a bit sweaty after long use. Bought them for playing guitar.

> 3 dayIve been using sony MDR-7506 headphones for years and bought several pairs, but the connecting wire in the headphone over time would get damaged and fail, leaving me with headphones that cant easily be fixed. These AKGs definitely dont provide the noise cancellation that you will find with many headphones but the comfort and quality will exceed many others. I also love that I can replace the cord, as the default is quite long.

> 3 dayIve had 2 pairs of these over 6 years and neither one fail to impress me, From me using them on my Ipod classic to using them on my Schitt stack Dac and Amp. Comfort is their, Sound is fantastic, Crisp and clear and impresses me every time i use them. My Current pair is about 4 years old and they still look and sound like new. Worth picking up!

> 3 dayIve always liked AKG headphones & I bought these as a Christmas present for my significant other. Were both senior citizens & our hearing sucks, so we watch TV using headphones so conversations are easier to understand. His hearing is much worse than mine so these are perfect for him & hes stated hes pleased with them. Ive tried them & theyre fine for TV but personally, I wouldnt use them to listen to music as I prefer a more refined sound.

> 3 dayGreat cans - The bass is good, the low end drops off a bit and theres a slight mid-bass hump, but it feels clean, punchy, and taut otherwise. The mids are clear and the instrument separation is great. However, some higher pitched female vocals can sound recessed and quiet at times, although this is only a minor concern. The highs are clear and crisp, although a bit more subtle than some cans Ive heard, as the high end rolls off a bit early for my taste. The soundstage isnt particularly wide, but seems precise and has a very clear sense of space.

Greater than one weekI really wanted some comfortable and good sounding headphones to use when practicing guitar late at night or when recording/ just listening to music. Not only are these headphones very comfortable (dont feel like there crushing your head or slipping off), they also dont make your ears ache after prolonged use, and the sound can compete with top shelf headphones for sure. Ive had many pairs of headphones from all different brands (sennheiser, bose, shure, etc..) but this was the first time Ive owned AKG and im definitely impressed by the sound quality and clarity of these headphones. These are a steal at this price and I dont think itll be easy to find any other headphones in this price range that can match the comfort, sound, and build quality of these. Plus it has a removable cable for easy replacement in case of stripping/ breaks but this hasnt even been an issue for me yet.
