So far I’m very happy with this keyboard. I first purchased another, compact rgb keyboard but I didn’t realize how heavily I rely on the number pad. Doh! I’m not a gamer but I bought an Alienware laptop for graphic work. This keyboard integrates seamlessly with the pre-installed command center so that was not an issue for me. The keyboard is SO much quieter than the other mechanical keyboard. It has such a soft, pleasant, tactile stroke, I almost wish for more work. I’m hoping for a type heavy project soon! On my desk, it sits behind my Wacom and the one doesn’t interfere with the other (but then I’ve been doing this for so many years, I may be subconsciously adjusting my hands). My work area is pretty dark so I’m grateful for the rgb lighting. It was easy to program- and I only change the color of the number keys from everything else. BIG CON: it has two (2) usb plugs!! It’s the only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5. Fortunately, I’ve just bought a good dock that supports 3 USB ports. The alienware m15 has 3 USB ports (I think), but I like my station to be portable without too much plugging and unplugging. Since I leave the keyboard (and big Wacom and big external monitor) at home, the docker is a saving grace. EDIT: changing to 5 stars. I didn’t realize there is an additional USB port on the keyboard and that is the reason for the additional plug. Love this! And I like Alienware. I’ve been using dell products for 15 years and I’m happy I discovered this in their lineup.

So I bought this keyboard to match my Alienware PC, and so far it is pretty good. They key strokes are super fast and if you want a fast keyboard for gaming, I recommend this one. The only downside is that the keys can be sensitive at one point, but in the end it really doesnt matter.

I had only used normal keyboards and my brothers Steelseries Cherry Red switch keyboard before this. It is very quiet when compared to the Steelseries, which I absolutely love, and it is thinner in person. The pictures dont really show how thin it is, and it was a concern I had before I got it in hand. I used it for some CS:GO to test it out and 2 things were very clear: 1. These switch get triggered Very easily, even a little tap gets recognized 2. It is so comfortable to use. The switches are jarring at first but I adjusted quickly, and please dont use the feet because it is perfect laying flat. If you want a low profile keyboard but dont want to spend 210+ on the Logictech offerings go with this. Its still more than most should be willing to spend on a keyboard but for what I wanted it is perfect

I love this keyboard. I love the low profile keys. I love how the keyboard performs. The Alienware software is another story though. If you want to be able to use all the customization options they claim to have through their software, look elsewhere. The software just doesnt work. I have installed and reinstalled the software and the customization part simply doesnt do anything. I can see al l the options to change color, etc, but nothing works. In todays world, a program like this isnt all that advanced and youd think they could develop one that works properly. I guess Alienware just doesnt care enough to invest in their own product, which is unfortunate because the keyboard hardware is great.

I use this keyboard for work as an alternative to using my laptop keyboard and the quality is excellent. It’s very easy to type on and the software allows you to customize key colors, macros, and game settings. On my laptop it detected 55 games that I have and allowed me to launch those games from the Alienware interface. On thing I don’t understand yet is that the “FN” key on my laptop keyboard doesn’t behave the same way on this keyboard, so I’ll have to figure that out.

This keyboard was exactly what I was looking for. Great for typing and also for gaming, I was searching for a low profile keyboard with RGB lighting, solid build quality and mechanical but I did not want loud and clicky. This keyboard checks the box in all of those areas.

This was a holiday gift for my daughter. I know nothing about it. She is thrilled with it. That is all that matters.
