Previously I had a 2 inch tow strap rated at 10,000 lbs. during a recovery it snapped because the vehicle was too heavy and put too much stress on the strap.Recommended weight rating is about 2-3 times the gross vehicle weight. This strap is heavy duty and rated at 30,000 lbs (triple the previous strap)! One look at it and you can tell this is far superior to my previous strap. It also comes with a case and 2 heavy duty shackles making this a complete recovery kit. The fact that this is a strap and not a rope allows for compact storage.

To be honest I havent yet used the kit yet. But that said, I do have experience with recovery straps .. cables .. snatch blocks and such. This kit seems very well made and there is no doubt in my mind it will perform as stated when the need arises. I only gave stretch and durability 4 stars because I havent as yet used it. There are some products that you can just tell are quality built and this is one of them. I also purchased 2 All-Top tree saver straps and have the same opinion about them. I like the pouch to keep things from getting misplaced. Now if you could figure out how to keep my son from stealing them from me that would be great.lol

I had to used it quicker than I anticipated. I was loaded with 16000lbs, bringing total VGW 35000lbs. Great product. Saved me from deep soft soil and hefty recovery price.

By what I can see by visually checking it over and feeling for defects; it seems to be a quality product. I don’t hope to test it anytime soon however so I cannot say for sure.

The quality seems to be excellent. I really haven’t out a load on the strap yet but have experimented with it given heavy snow conditions in the east, it just a matter of time. Good material, loops are good size for hooking. I’m very pleased with the quality and seams.... I have no doubt this strap will pull a small ship; ok, maybe just a large truck. But after all, that’s what I got it for.
