> 3 dayWorks perfectly. New favorite go to countersink. The angles are good and it is quick and easy to use. If you are having marks after using it. 1. Use it a few times on scrap wood to get the bearing to open up a bit and smooth out. 2. I found you are best to go quick with the drilling. You need to have firm pressure and speed to have it stop the outer shell quickly.

Greater than one weekLove this product. Wish I bought it a long time ago. Makes drilling countersink holes fast and easy. No more over-drilling holes or starting and stopping to get just the right depth. With this little device, it is always right the first time.

Greater than one weekThis is the second one that I purchased. I bought a #8 and at the time thought it was a little pricey. After using it on a couple of projects I went ahead and bought this one, a #6, because it just works so darn well. The annoying part is figuring out which size to buy to work with which screw size. Once I bought this, I got out a Sharpie and wrote a big #6 and #8 on each one. Makes grabbing the right one so much easier.

> 3 dayDrills very easily, very sharp. If you are looking for a countersink, this is the one you want. Theres a reason so many YouTubers recommend it. I wish the price was a little better, but its a quality made product - I think itll stay sharp for a while, so this should be the last one youll ever need (unless you want a different size). If you do a lot of cabinet building, this is excellent. As my dad says You cant work without good tools.

> 3 dayIm so impressed! It drills and recesses a perfect hole every time and has not marred a single surface Ive drilled into. Stained wood painted wood unstained or unpainted wood has not left even a small indention! Now, of course, if you push down really hard, the catch collar will mark your workpiece slightly, but its pretty obvious that you shouldnt do that, but you wont find the need either. LOVE that its impact driver ready, too. It IS a tad pricey for sure, but man, is it fantastic. Still very sharp after 100s of holes drilled. 100% recommended. Hope this was helpful!

> 3 dayThe mechanism is high quality. The thrust bearing is a little cheap. As it ships, it (may) scuff your wood. This is easily fixed by placing painters tape before drilling. The tape adds enough friction to engage the thrust bearing. Problem solved. The friction bearing may loosen up in time. Aside from that minor problem, it works flawlessly. I would buy it again.

> 3 dayI loved my Amana Tool - 55229 Carbide Tipped 82° Countersink with Adjustable Depth Stop, but only for a short while. Chalk it up to user error. What happened is the depth stop set screw flew out and the bit fell apart. I should have made sure it was tight and then checked it again after several uses. Unfortunately I lost the screw and in my anger threw out the whole bit. Oh well, live and learn. Im ordering another and this time Ill make sure its tight. The performance, for the short time I had it was typical with what youd expect from Amana Tools. Easy to set up and use, minimal marks left behind by the depth stop.
